Indianapolis DIS Meet - Come One Come All!

Just found this post in someones link on the food pic page....

Sounds really cool and would love to meet other Disers.... but,
the day its scheduled, we are going to be out of Indiana and driving to have my Birthday dinner with Mickey!

Not only are Dodie's and my birthday on August 31st, but my DH, Matthew (Rhett972 - doesn't post much though) is exactly one week later! His birthday is September 7th. I love the end of August/early September because of our birthdays as well as our anniversary (September 10th) is all one right after the other...

My birthday is also August 31st, but I have always hated that.... especially when I was a kid, as it always fell when school started so I usually go school clothes!

But last year and this it has been a good thing, as it is my excuse to go to Disney World at that time!!!

Kids activities:

Hot Potato (with a Disney stuffed animal for the potato?)
Karaoke? If someone is willing to bring a machine and some kid-friendly discs?

I will voluntEAR to run the Hot Potato Game. I'll provide:boom box, music, stuffed animal, prizes


Sooze is bringing Buffalo Chicken Dip

BTW, DS (8) is Tyson, DD(2) is Shaelyn

Unfortunately, life has happened and we need to "un-register" for this meet. As awesome as it sounds it will be, we just can't make it on the 30th. So, if you'll remove our names from the list, that would be great.

I'll subscribe to this thread and when the meet is over, I'll come back and looka at all the pictures everyone will certainly post. Thanks for all your planning efforts. I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend.

I have been to several Indy DIS meets in the past, so I will see if I can make this one! We sometimes visit relatives in Michigan on Labor Day weekend, but I haven't heard of any plans so far.

We are DVC members. We love our membership. It allows us to get to Disney World a little more often than we would without it.

Well, I spoke to DH and he said attending the DISmeet is fine with him. So, count us in...our group includes:
