I heard rumors that Indiana Jones Stunt Show was going to close at some point. Is that still a rumor or has those plans been cancelled?

Thank heavens, my son wants to see this!!! We saw it last time, but we forgot his headphones and he had to leave halfway through because of the noise. He said just the other night that he wants to try it again.

looking at whats going on, I think we'll see a major revamp of echo lake area and it's starting to seem like they might move / change the park entrance / revamp the insane amount of extra bus parking they don't use anymore but I wouldn't expect anything to start until after star wars land is opened and whatever is going to happen with star tours is ready to start.. (can't see that staying outside of starwars land)

aka, it'll be there for now to see.

This is one show I have never had any interest in seeing. Don't really know why as I enjoyed the movie when it came out, but when MGM opened, I just wasn't interested and have walked right past it without a second thought the hundreds of times we have been there.

I hope its not true! My son was just telling me yesterday that he wants to see this show when we go in March

Next time you go don't walk by it. Go in because it is a pretty cool show. Let's not make it too easy for Disney to do away with all live shows so they can have an fully automated DW which would save them money.

I can't imagine walking past an attraction hundreds of times and never giving it a chance, especially when you liked the movie and there are no health/mobility concerns.

I'm just one of those that has to try everything at least once.

Well it will probably stay open till Pixarland and Star Wars land are finished due to lack of attractions.

Actually, there are several attractions I have never been on/in: the theater by Imagination that had the Michael Jackson movie; the attraction with Stitch; the "spaceships" in Tomorrowland; none of the movies in World Showcase; just to name a few. We were Florida residents until 1996 and went about once a week, sometimes more frequently.

So Captain EO, Stitchs Great Escape, Astro Orbiter, and the movies which I'm not going to name all of them... ;)

Not going to say you made a bad choice skipping the ones you mentioned above but the Indiana Jones Stunt show is much better than all of those IMO.

I've never been on Astro Orbiter either and I honestly have no urge to go on it, lol...but my son saw a video of it the other day and asked me how come I never told him about this ride  oops...so now he's all like we are going on that ride! I told him I will go on it at night time when the park is all lit up, bc it might not be so bad, LOL...I am totally afraid of heights (but roller coasters don't bother me bc you are like really high for 2 seconds and then you are going so fast you don't even notice, lol)

I should note that when we went in May, the theater wasn't even half full for the show. I remember when it first opened you had a hard time even getting in.

Let's face it ... a great, classic movie and a wonderful attraction. But the attraction has not had a single, tiny change made to it 27 years.

That's not just boring ... that's Hall of Presidents boring ... except at least the hall gets a new Prez every 4-8 years.

If a movie theater, playhouse, sports stadium or "local" amusement park was run that way it would be laughed out of town.
