Indiana Jones Refurbishment?

DD and I are headed to DL April 24 for her 30th birthday celebration and touring plans has IJ listed as closed for refurbishment 4/20-5/1. Anyone else hear anything about this? Our first trip to DL as we are regulars at WDW. Would hate to miss a classic

It's listed as closed on the official Disney site. We are bummed too because we get there the 20th but won't be in parks that day.

Indy really does need fine tuning. It has to happen at one time or another each year.
The refurbishment schedule may change though at any time and without notice. So.....stay tuned.

Yeah I saw a few days ago it'd be gone during our exact trip. I'm pregnant, so I can't go on it anyway - but it was closed the SAME time last year haha. It's my favorite ride!

Would it be too much to ask Disney to announce closings at least six months out? After all with Fasspass+, ADRs, etc. they want us to plan in advance.

If a ride is scheduled for refurb from 24 to may 1 does that mean it's opening may 1st or the 2nd?

IJ is in desperate need of refurbishment. We were there last week, and it was down more often than not.

The Disney calendar has it closed through the 1st and opening on the 2nd. The 1st is our last day in the parks so we are hoping for a little bit of magic to have it finish a day or 2 early.

We arrive on the 18th...so I'm hoping to ride it the 18th or 19th. I've never been on it as I haven't been to DL since the mid-1990s, but I've heard it's a must do!!
