Indiana Jones Mine Train

Just watched they 2nd movie again and the escape out of the mine would be an amazing mine train ride. Lots of cool themeing to work in.

I could imagine the stand by line including the village and tunnels up to when you "jump" into the already rolling cart with fast loading.

I'd be the happiest person if WDW had Indiana Jones' Adventure. That's like one of my favorite rides ever.

Indiana Jones is a really cool theme overall though, so any IJ ride would be really wonderful.

The main rumor it hasn't come to Disney World is that it's supposedly the exact same ride layout as Dinosaur (and it actually is the same ride technology). So far Disney hasn't used the same ride technology in such close proximity (I'm looking at you Universal), but you never know. The same reasoning could be used as why Disney World won't be getting Radiator Springs Racer, since it's pretty much Test Track (and the ride layout felt very similar to me when I rode it), the RSR does have more outdoor "driving". Tho there are rumors of a Carsland coming to Florida, but whether it has the racers or not is still to be seen.

I would so "dig it" if Indy came to FL! My thought has always been to knock out the stunt show and put the ride there.
I think the reason why they don't put the carsland racers here is because its a very outdoors track and it rains here all the time. If TT shuts down in the rain, imagine how awful the racers would be! At least, that's what I have heard, take it with a grain of salt.

And, Disney copies rides from each other, like Winne the Pooh, Thunder Mountain and Ariel, to name a few. Why can't we have Indy!!

Disney Paris does have an Indiana Jones themed "mine train" coaster. Its interesting that in three different parks there are 3 totally different Indiana Attractions.

I had thought about an Indy Mine Car roller coaster for a while. I didn't know there was one in Disneyland. It would have been such a cool concept, especially if they could have put alot of props in it such as a rival car pullling along side of you with the bad guys in it (but without pulling your kid across the tracks).

Yes, when the ride first opened in '95 they had a bunch of concept art for the ride on display in an art gallery- I think in New Orleans Square somewhere. It included mine carts on a track in addition to the "jeep" ride that exists now. That would be awesome if they could add that in someday.
