So why doesn't Disney give Indy the refurb it deserves and update/fix everything that needs it? If they did that, then hyped the hell out of it, it'd [once again] have a line stretching out of Adventureland and all the way down Main Street, full of eager people.
One of the things they could really work on is the "rat room." That place is just an empty space. If they added an actual set-piece there, that would be great!
But there's just so much stuff on it that could be upgraded/added/fixed/overhauled; I really wouldn't mind if Disney shut it down for 6-12 months to achieve a major updating. After all, it is one of their top premiere attractions.
It's not a new ride by any means. But it still draws huge lines compared to the rest of the park. So why fix what ain't broken?
