Hi everyone. As DH has posted we've just managed to book great flight prices for an unexpected visit to WDW this Summer and would like to stay at Indian Creek again. Have found a couple of gorgeous villas on Oneida Loop(over the bridge first right, houses are on the left hand side of the road for those of you who've been) and were wondering if anyone can let us know how the new Western Beltway would affect this area? Any pics would be appreciated. Mrs Tony Toon :cheer2: :flower3: :cheer2: :flower3: :cheer2:

We stayed in a villa at Oneida Loop at Christmas, one of the ones that backs onto Windsor Palms townhomes.

The new road looks very nice but only saw a couple of cars on it - mostly none to be seen. I think it is a toll road so traffic levels may not be that great - we certainly never noticed any problems.

Thanks Tracey. That's what we thought following our visit last year but just wanted to check with someone who'd been there more recently. :wave2:

We went last August and have stayed on Indian Creek several times, including Oneida Loop.
OL as the name suggests covers quite a large area of the development.

If you are on the left hand side of the road you will be fine, I can send you some pics if you want to pm me, some taken on the bridge of the Beltway itself.
In addition you cannot actually see the Beltway from any of the homes anyway, there is a massive wall that seperate it, I am not 100% sure but think Autumn Creek backs on to it.

Autumn creek circle back directly onto the Beltway - but you can see the wall and there is suppoed to be landscaping put in pace as well throug Indian Creek

These were taken late last August - sent to Liz by pm (please let me know if you need anymore)

The left hand side of these photos is as you cross over the bridge, you can see the homes on the left plus a big gap/wall between the homes and the Beltway. Plus Liz if your home is on the left you have houses opposite you between you and Beltway.

We are due to stay at Emerald Island resort in 4 weeks and I would like to know where this road is? We stayed at Oak Island Cove and we saw something being built behind this.

Just want to know if it is going to increase the traffic around where we are staying?

Thanks

The road cuts straight through the middle of Indian Creek and also close to Windsor Palms too.
At the moment it is not actually finished, difficult to say regarding traffic and it is not fully open yet - however if you are going in a few weeks I wouldn't be too concerned.
