Inconsistent Crowd Predictions for March

I was looking at the crowd predictions to pick a time to visit WDW this March, and I noticed that while some forecast the last week to be moderate crowds, others predict it to be VERY high crowds. For those of you who are going or pick up on travel plans from fellow board members, how's the last week seem like it's going to be? I'd prefer to go in earlier March as I need an escape from Ohio winters, but if the crowds will be that much lighter in late March, I'll wait!

Prime spring break season, I would expect relatively high crowds. The first week of March is typically the least crowded. YMMV.

Easter is in late April this year, so it won't be as bad as some years, but I would still go earlier in the month of March.

Agree the 2nd week of March is when all of Texas is on Spring break, that's why we are going the first week of March

Another thread mentioned that most of central Florida, along with other big areas like Miami, have spring break that last full week of March.

That was me.

Pretty much every county in Central Florida besides Seminole has spring break March 22 through March 30:
Orange, Osceola, Volusia, Lake, Brevard, Polk

The Miami area also has spring break that week (Dade and Broward counties), as does St Petersburg (Pinellas County), as do about 1/2 of the smaller counties in Florida, plus a lot of schools out of state.

splash mt being closed for most of March, and the continual delay of 7dmt makes me wonder if some people are waiting things out.

touring plans down graded that entire week. a while ago, they had 7-9's. now they have 6 & 7's

We're going the first full week of March. Sounds like that's pretty early for spring break, yet it's one of the two weeks that were blacked out of the Disney Visa room discount. Any ideas why?

Florida schools are out March 23 week... Predictions of 8's' & 9's all week,

Best week is the week after Presidents' Day IMHO. Mass and northeast school have presidents week off. So there is a lull between start of spring break (colleges) and Easter break.

Last yr we had break the week of March 9.

Also, Disney offers great discounts for florida residents during this time too.

According to DVC availability the week after Msrch 23 doesn't look too crowded.

Well, one reason may be that it is Mardi Gras. That's Louisiana week.

Spring breaks here in GA are late March/first week of April...

Most schools here in the South get only a long weekend for Easter but schools back open by the Tues after Easter.

I'm considering a visit the week after Easter but starting on Wednesday... Will be crowded but not as many schools will be out as that week moves on.
