Incidental Authorization

It’s been about 3 years since we’ve taken a full trip to Disney and I remember something about them now placing $100 incidental holds (plus another $100 if you go over that amount) to your CC on file when staying on property.
Are they still doing that? Just trying not to rack up a bunch of holds and using a GC instead to pay at the time vs paying down charges at the desk later.

Just use your Gift cards in the parks for the initial purchases and save the stress and worry of stopping by the Front Desk every couple of days to pay down your balance.

I can never understand the compatibility of using MBs charging to your room Folio and then using Gift Cards to pay the balance. I would save the steps to the Front desk in the evenings.
