I completely forgot to watch last night too , but I used the sign up link to reschedule for Thursday evening. I would love to add on another contract at AKV but not sure if it is in the budget now.

I am guessing that you cannot do this but I'll ask the question anyway..... Could you sell (trade-in) some points from one resort back to Disney to lessen the cost of buying into a different resort?? For example - trade in 50 of our SSR points to lessen the cost of purchasing 50-100 points at BLT?

We loved staying at BLT last summer and would love to own there but dont want to purchase another 100 points at this time.

No trade in's you can sell the points with a resale and then buy points where you would like to stay. It may take awhile to sell and close on your points. by the time you sell your points and buy the new points at the higher rate, its only costing you money out of the pocket.
Points are all the same, the only downfall its 11 month out booking at your home resort or 7 months out non home resort. you can use your points at all DVC resorts and some non DVC resorts.

Yeah, I just mailed in my add-on contract last week. The price pp was the same as the current sale but I missed out on a $500 gift card.

Yeah, last month, it was $2 more/pp and no extra stuff. Oh well. Who needs an extra eight or nine hundred bucks......

I'm kind of kicking myself for not buying last year when I think for 250 at BLT would have been about 90-93 a point (cannot remember exact). On the bright side we like BLT but was not overly impressed with it - we prefer BCV and BWV. We canceled our BLT contract and added on at BCV (after I had 2 BCV and 1 BWV ROFR). Just when I think of the decent price, longer contract, booking window, and lower MFs at BLT......ahhhhhhhh we don't mind staying at any of the resorts just prefer EPCOT.
