Ina Garten... does her voice annoy you?

Like nails on a chalkboard... I'm sure she's a lovely person and I love the food she cooks. But I cannot STAND her voice.

Her voice doesn't bother me at all, but her laugh does. Her laugh just sounds sooooo fake. Her voice just sounds like a normal voice to me, but when she laughs I have to mute it until I see her stop laughing.

Not her voice but her laugh gets to me. Also I hate how she's always making her company praise her food. I will say this though, I enjoy watching her cook and I have made a lot of her dishes and they always turn out great and taste good, that's why I continue to watch her. Have you ever noticed how much she drinks? I wonder if she drinks a lot IRL.

Now that Italian chick with the jugs hanging out...her voice annoys the crap out of me.

Not her voice but her laugh. Sometimes she comes off as a little snobby to me but I like watching her. Our family always laughs when we watch because no matter what she makes, in at least one recipe, it calls for like 3lbs of butter and a dozen eggs. Every episode!

I also like Paula Deen a lot too. My MIL thinks she sounds fake but my MIL likes to watch Nancy Grace. Now explain that one to me! LOL

I love Ina. However, her laugh is a little annoying. That woman knows her way around the kitchen. She is a fabulous cook.

I love her cooking. I learn so much from her but I've always thought there's something boring or sleepy about her show. I wasn't sure what it was. Now I know. As a pp said, her voice is very monotone!! That's it!

Maybe it's a regional thing? Being from the NY metro area, she sounds "normal" to me.

I like her as well. But I just love her lfe...at least what is portrayed on TV. Home in the Hamptons, fabulous friends...not to mention all those trips to Paris.
