In what order do they settle your account at the end of the sailing?

So at the end of your sailing and what order do they process the funds for the account I’m going to have state credit cash and then of course my credit card. I just want to know how they settle before I put too much money into each form into the account.

First is non-refundable credit (like from DCL)
Next is refundable stateroom credit (purchased by you or TA or others)
Next is cash that you put down
Finally any remaining balance goes to the credit card

First used is non-refundable onboard credit, then refundable credit, then cash you have already on the account, then your credit card.

EDIT: Ha, ha @lanejudy just beat me to it!

Also have gift cards
You can use your gift cards to by onboard credit for your stateroom before the cruise, which is nice because then it's done. Or you can go to guest services to apply it when you board. I think this will go into the category of refundable credit that the others mentioned. Keep the gift card in case it gets refunded because it will go back to the original payment (the gift card).
