It makes you remember what's really important.

I have taken all the past drama and curled it into a ball and thrown it away. I am sorry to those I have hurt, and I can only ask for forgivness.

May the passing of our friend remind us all that in the end, the only thing that matters is love. Share that love everyday with everyone. :grouphug:

Tragedy puts things in perspective. I completely agree with your sentiment Jen. :thumbsup2

The DIS is a family....sometimes it's a disfuctional family...but still family. There's a little drama in every family, but when things like this happen, family sticks together. :grouphug:

I was really "ticked" off at my husband this morning :headache:

I had planned telling him so after work today :furious:

Instead, I texted him and told him I loved him

I can't imagine my life without him

Takes a bunch of great people to make a great family. :grouphug:

Thanks Jen.

Times like this really puts into perspective what is and should be important.

Thanks Jen for for reminding us what is really important. I know you are hurting today as well

Thank you Jen.

After my Dad was killed, things that seemed terribly important seemed insignificant and I realized that life can change in an instant.

You hear that and it means nothing until you are hit with the reality that it's true and final.

I truly appreciate what you have done and you are right.

Thanks again,
Kevin

I'm loving this! There's a lot of good folks on these boards. Lots of differences but we are all bonded. Brandie is what's important now, not petty nonsense. :goodvibes :grouphug:

It's so easy to let the little things take over and you don't see the real important parts of your life. I agree we need to stop and think every once in a while to put things in perspective.

:grouphug:

I'm so glad to be a part of this amazing family

Yep, no matter how much life or work can beat you down, never forget to remind the ones you love how much they mean to you. I have fallen victim to this at times when work overwhelms me, but then I remind myself that my job will not be my legacy, but the friends and family that I surround myself with will be. I continue to be amazed by the love and support of this DIS family and it will be something I never take for granted. :grouphug:

I couldn't agree more Jen.

Right now, getting Brandie through this is the most important thing. Everything else is trivial.
