Stay strong!

lol thanks. Get well soon!
I learned about kidney stones and that in 5th grade
Can not blame it on the food service, as they have had me NPO since arriving/Still have lots of boxes to unpack and get everything put in place. This place just gives me the willies
I have always been on TPN therapy and had ng tube at the same time. I guess I might be going MAD !!!
.... then I will not be so heartbroken
I am ready to leave this place despite just arriving here![]()

Seems that the Dr has decided to start me on "protonix" and then 2 hrs after that, he will take out the NG tube ??? Then 2 hrs after taking out the NG tube, he is going to start the TPN therapy![]()

I have been trying to get on to VMK since yesterday and have had no luck, so I am just going to chalk it up to last May's experience of: no host prize, no pins, no hats, no clothes, no nothing.... then I will not be so heartbroken

Until I can get on VMK/DIS boards again or on to some other site, like, possible even my OWN EMAIL, LOL![]()

Want Me to get you your stuff on VMK?
Things have been so hectic that I have no clue if I am coming or going

Okay so let me get everyone caught up to speed:
I was barely home 24hrs and I was back in the ER because pus was coming out of the site where they had inserted the PICC line. So there I was, trapped in the ER, for almost 24hrs, getting IV antibiotics. It felt FANTASTIC to finally be home, but it killed me to leave my mother lying in ICU, still in a coma
I am thinking it is a miracle and I am not going to lose my Mom after all
However, the Dr advised us that she had aspirated her own vomit and was having a harder time with her lungs and she was not following commands. I kind of chalked the non-command deal to her *just* coming out of the coma, but after I went in today, Sunday, and sat with her for almost 2 hrs, I knew she was not understanding anything I was saying. She would look directly at me when I talked to her, but it was like she was looking right through me. The Dr did come in while I was there and reiterated that Mom was NEVER going to be Mom again.
