In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate, VOL 7! Princesses? Nope, just us Goddesses!

Morning everyone.

Just a quick drive by. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good Morning everyone!!! Ugh I so dreaded stepping on those scales this morning, but I was happy to only have a 2 pound gain as I had no mercy when it came to sweets this weekend lol So I guess it's back to the gym today to sweat out all this butter and hopeing for a decent loss over the next couple weeks for Christmas.

On a different note... everyone please rememeber my town through the holidays. One of the boys in our youth group who's grown up at our church as did his parents was killed in a car crash last night. It is a deep loss to our community and church. Our church is very close and the youth group are like brothers and sisters. He just got his liscence a couple weeks ago and had big plans for himself with a good head on his shoulders. His family has had a lot of heartache over the past couple years so this is a huge blow for them. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers and remember to cherish every moment especially this time of year.

Awesome TR Kelly! We loved the BMG. In fact, I am thinking about getting to Florida early for the Princess to see them.

I really didn't think it would be my cup of tea, but I really enjoyed it! Very weird, very cool!

Yeah Kelly!

Thanks so much Kelly. I forgot to count down to the picture of you. You look fantastic as usual! And I loved the picture with the dessert. So cute.

Kelly, loved your tr! Makes me want to go to Universal! Fun.

Yes, Kelly, you totally sold me on Universal! And I have tickets just waiting for the day when we are ready...

I loved Universal. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did! Everything from the theming of the different parks to the Christmas Decorations, wonderful!

Oh, you know what I didn't like - Turkey Legs. What on earth are they all about?! I saw one and it scared me to death! :scared1:

Oh - and you'll love this one. Here's me, reading your TR, and there's you in one of the pics (you look fabulous btw). Along comes my darling husband who peeks over my shoulder and says "who's THAT?" :confused3 So I start in with "her name is Kelly, she's from England, and she just went on a trip to Universal...." when he interrupts me and says "oh. She's one of your in-touch-with-your-body buddies" Men are so wierd. :lmao:

:lmao: I'll take in-touch-with-your-body-buddy! It could have been worse, I could have been the odd English girl! :rotfl:

Whatever. Tell him I wish someone was in touch with my body. :lmao::rotfl::lmao: Does he have a buddy? :lmao: ;) Forgive me God for I have sinned. But I haven't and that's the problem. Round and round we go.....

:rotfl::lmao:

Oh that is so sad. I will keep you, your town and the family in my thoughts

The weather here is so cold today, but on my lunch hour I did go for a walk so I was very happy with that! Food today has been so far so good and water is okay-ish so far, I need to drink more tonight!

Hope everyone is having a great day :upsidedow

Very sad.

Hi guys. BUSY Monday. I had a whole list of things to do and I think I only completed one of them. Oy!

Horrific story about the family. Must cherish the present.

Leaving the office now.

Will check in later.

Hi all...

About to head to the gym for week 1, day 1 of my MFM training. Trying to get excited about this, but have to admit, I am struggling. My motivation is just not there today. Ugh... crappy day at work and a one pound gain at JC. So I am off to work some frustration out of my system at the gym. On the plus side, I resisted the cookies at work today so that is a success.

Lyz - sorry your day was so busy...

So sorry for that family. Will definitely say a prayer for them.

OK - so much more I want to say, but for now, I am off to sweat before I completely lose interest.

Me too Paula. Me too. I hope your night goes better. :goodvibes

Or those bullies???

Seriously, if I get called ma'am one more time in the University Center, I am going to scream!

I know, eh? :goodvibes;) I used to do it all the time when I worked at a department store and I could never figure out why some women hated it when I was just being polite. :confused3:lmao:

Amy - I'm with you on the not liking the whole ma'am thing. It just makes me feel old...

The walking workout was a good one. My new shoes are so comfy that they make me happy. Off to make birthday cupcakes for my sister's last birthday party of the year. This one is with the Tuesday night dinner crowd. We decided to do a bit of a kids' party theme of Star Wars. We have goody bags and everything. It will either be funny or corny. Either way, it will be a good time. :rotfl:

OMG. A parents worst nightmare. Nate will be taking his driving test soon and even though I survived this with Seth, it still scares the crap out of me.

Erika - any news on Grandma Meredith's hunt?

I have yet to see a Zhu-Zhu in person. They are no where to be found around here.

Trying to get excited about this, but have to admit, I am struggling. My motivation is just not there today.

I'm struggling too. I made a pact with 2 of my gym friends - journalling until Christmas. The good, the bad, the ugly. It all gets written down. Gotta be honest with myself or nothing is going to improve here...

Sounds like fun! Enjoy!

Home from a very long day on campus! Ugh--the end of the semester is just BRUTAL.

Nope, I bagged it this morning. It was cold and pouring rain. I have decided on the days that I need to go up there anyway, I'll go before 8 so I can be there for the store opening. But I am not going to make special trips each day. I end up in that town 2-3x/week as it is, so I will help out then.

Glad the shoes feel good, Paula! And it sounds like Donna is totally getting her use out of the Birthday Buffer!

Same here, Nancy. Never even laid eyes on one! But apparently the little suckers will be invading my house soon enough! :lmao:

So. I just finished my journalling for today. You know, it would really help if I wrote things down when I eat them, rather than wait until the end of the day. Ah well. I'm a bit over on my points, but at least I wrote it all down. :upsidedow

So I just have to share this comment from class tonight. During our break, one of the guys was handing around summer sausage. The professor said <guy's name> is passing around his meat. Of course, she didn't mean it the way she said it, but we burst into laughter anyway. Needless to say, the last part of class was hilarious.

In just 4 short hours, my car was frosted over. As in ice scraper frost. WHAT?!? Seriously, I'm moving south when I grow up.

She sure is and frankly, I am so over it at this point. :rotfl:

Nancy - yeah for journaling. I need to do something to find my mojo again, but I don't know what. Deb at JC asked me why I wanted to lose weight and I didn't have an answer for her. That was telling right there. My challenge from her this week is to find the why. So I'll be doing a bit of soul searching to find that. I don't think I am 'finished' losing the weight yet but I don't know. argh....pirate: why can't this be easy? (had to throw the pirate dude in to remember mom's days with the patch)

Good question from Deb...and yes, why can't it be easy? Ah, because the journey is more important than the destination. Cliched, but true. to you, Paula.

(yes, I'm lurking!)
