Hey All -

I'm sorry, i've been inexcusably MIA forever. Been a rough few months, we lost 4 people at work, i've been working 15 hour days, my grandfather (maternal - extremely close) died suddenly a few weeks ago, and for some ungodly idea i thought it would be nice to take 2 summer classes this semester.

There have been a few pluses, got a promotion into HR at work this week - negative is how do you add more hours to 15 per day and still function. We are in the house, have been for about 2 weeks, about halfway unpacked. Bruce is on evenings so i go stretches without seeing him, and all i ever do is eat, work and sleep.

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME!

I'm gonna try to catch up on a little of the recent goings on.

I've been bad, haven't been to the gym since before vacation, ate like crap for almost a month as we were between townhouse and house. Cleaned up my act a little with the food this week, but have to get back on the wagon.

And since this seems to be the time to re commit to the plan... I am crawling back on the wagon. Is there any room left? I am going to start back to actual WW meetings next Thursday. I didn't do so well trying it by myself.

Oh, look what I found. I can view my zoo picture from Sunday on the internet. I tell ya, technology has come so far. Remember when you'd get your picture taken, and have to buy the little key chain viewfinder picture for some cold hard cash?

In the midst of yet another freakin' thunderstorm.



So - we reached another milestone here. When Seth turned 18 two weeks ago, the big joke was that now he could buy lottery tickets, cigarettes & get a tattoo. But today? Well, something that happened that never even occured to me. Today Seth had an appt with the oral surgeon - has to have his wisdom teeth out. And because he is 18 HE had to sign the HIPA paper giving approval to the Dr. to release info to ME. wowza was THAT wierd. AND he had to read/sign the "this is what we are going to do to you" paperwork. I was so not prepared for that one.

If I *ever* got a tattoo, I'm sure I'd end up with a freckle! They'd come at me with their needle thingy and I'd freak and run far and fast

I have a tattoo and I love it. I got it at 19--way before it was the in thing to do. It can only be seen if I am wearing a bathing suit (and we all know how often that happens...). And while I won't get a second one, I might add on to this one at some point.

Well, actually, someday I *might* get a second one. If I ever do a real, full IronMan tri, I will get the IRON distance tat. But really, that is SO far out of my reality right now, that I don't see it happening.
