In Search of My Body....Not the One I ATE! Vol. 5: Goddesses are Always on Top!

Thanks, Kat! :goodvibes And yeah, you DO have a ton of space for just the two of you, but I think that is good. You need your space, so it works for you.

OMG, Liz, you did NOT make a speadsheet for your workouts did you? Please tell me you didn't! :faint:

Oh and I am a definite for next year. 100%.

I am a definite for next year too. I will find a trade for D. Or, the way things have been going lately, he will likely agree without one. :)

Spreadsheet!! :yay: I just use sparkpeople.

We have about 2300 sq ft w/ a 2car garage. But, in my area at the time we bought, it was like $75-78 a sq ft. So, we figured that in case bc failed, it would be better to have the extra space and not have to move. The space is nice, though... esp if D decides to play some online game complete with LOUD headset, I can escape downstairs!

I love the location, as we are right smack in the middle between the three "cities" that make up the Triangle, and in the middle of the research park which would be my primary employment area.

There is nowhere around here that is an "urban" walking only area, unfortunately. I had that in Chicago and loved it, but hated the weather....

Speaking of weather (and yes, I am random today), it is 80 today!!

Erika. Of course I did. Otherwise, how would I know what to do every day? To get it ALL in???

Roddy - me, too.

Going to see Watchman in a few. Must. Resist. Popcorn.

Excel is wonderful, for a Microsoft product anyway.

You're going to see Watchmen, do let us know if it's worth it.

And, Movie Theater Popcorn... *drools*. Just look at the fricken price, then imagine spending the next three hours picking husks out of your teeth, that should be enough of a deterrent. popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

Ah, are you an Apple person? Like me?

I adore spreadsheets. Right, Lyz? ;)

WatchmEn, not man. So sorry.

Roddy, the thing you don't know about me is that I am in love with movie theater popcorn. Sometimes we break up, and I swear I am done. But then we make up. I have left and returned many times. Mostly, I just try to treat mtp like an ex-boyfriend. Okay to see once in a while, but never when I'm lonely, sad, or feeling desperate. And when it starts to feel like cheating, then it is.

See? Food AND relationship advice!

Erika. Tell Lyz about the Coach. She's not going to let it go. ;)

I'm working in the office on a Saturday! And I'm tired. And I'm losing an hour this weekend. It's enough to make a fat girl, trying to cut back, head to the lobby of Lowes and make some little girls scouts day.

The weather is nice though. So I won't.

I'm up to my eyeballs in Excel right now.

Roddy. She treats it like a booty call.

That is the funniest thing I have read on here in AGES! :lmao: :rotfl2: And even funnier because it is SO TRUE!

She left because she is going to graduate school. Good reasons. And I got her into a great program. So her leaving was totally with my blessing. But it's hard to replace a limb, kwim?

Coach. Well, there are TWO, count 'em TWO, Coach outlets within driving distance. And the savings at the outlets are definitely worth it. HUGE savings. So you can do really well.

For my 20-something assistant, I got a swingpack. Cute and age-appropriate.
For the one who is about my age, I got a handle tote. Perfect for bringing to work or going out, right?
The third one is 60 and my kids call her Grandma Cathy. She adores them and treats them like her own. And has been with me since day one. Which is 11 years now. I opted not to get her Coach, but instead bought her two RT tickets to Vegas, since that is her and her husband's favorite place to go.

Happy now? :rotfl2:

This may sound like a pretty stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway.

Is the Princess Half a "women's only" event? :confused3 I was just on the official website, and it says to be eligible you must be over the age of 14. Doesn't say anything about GENDER. Of course, registration is closed, so I can't go thru a mock-registration process to see if it asks.

Just curious - because if I'm training, I'm sure Stephen will train with me. Not that he would *have* to run it, but I'm betting he would. And dang, that tiarra would look just STUNNING on him

I adore spreadsheets. Right, Lyz? ;)

No, I'm not an Apple person. Sorry. :sad2:

WatchmEn, not man. So sorry.

I didn't even notice. It was a fluke! :lmao:

Pretend that MTP has been cheating on you. That you caught MTP in bed with peanut butter cups. PBC had MTP's love child. They named the child Crunch N' Munch. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

And, umm, can I work for you?? I think I got a company branded umbrella as a gift once... maybe....

Just want you all to know that I am now sitting on my patio in a tank and shorts. In the shade. And not the least bit cold. :thumbsup2

Kat - get in the sun. The sun makes me happy happy happy today.

EriKa - yes I am happy now. Thank you. Except you have TWO Coach outlets! I have one which is 45 minutes away. So jelous.

Nancy - good question.

Ok, so I broke down. We walked to the candy store. It was wonderful and now I'm eating licorice laces. Just sayin.

I have never been in a Coach outlet.

Licorice? Black? Ewww... :P

Kelly, love your food posting. LOVE IT. I am amazed by the low point values, too. It's so wow to me. Now, when you hit goal, do you get 4 extra points a day? That's what we do here.

When we get to goal we do get extra points so we can maintain our weight. Not sure if its 4 points - knowing my luck it will only be one! :rotfl:

I got a Bondi that just says TRI on it (in the oval sticker style).

And I got my mom and I matching shirts. On the front it says Triathlete with big graphic in the center of the swim/bike/run. And on the back it says:

Swim
Bike
Run
Tri
Finish

Just like that in a line down the center. I will post pics. And the kids gave me a tech shirt that says Triathamom. LOVE that.

Triathamom. I love it :lovestruc

See, Erika, it's a good thing that I don't know you in 3D, because if I did every time I saw you I'd address you as "Dr. Anderson". It wouldn't be normal, though. I'd say it like Agent Smith in "The Matrix". I'd wear sunglasses too. To make it creepier. :cool2:
"Tell me, Dr. Anderson... what good is a phone call... if you're unable to speak?" :rotfl2:

:lmao:

Speaking of Harry Potter, I can hardly wait to see "Half-Blood Prince".

Me either!

Roddy. She treats it like a booty call.

:lmao: So funny!

You make me snort-laugh! Which is good. Not so good on the nose though but hey ho!

Todays food:

Breakfast - Bran Flakes 2.5 points
Skimmed milk - 1 point

Snack - WW Blueberry bar and an apple - 2 points

Lunch - Can of tomato soup - 1 point
WW Yoghurt - 0.5 points
Sugar free jelly - 0 points

Snack - 2 marmite flavoured rice cakes - 1 point

Dinner - Turkey curry - 5.5 points
Brown rice - 3 points
Naan bread - 3 points

Total - 19.5 points

Red is the only way to go.

Erika, hire me. I'll be the best assistant EVER. Do I have to move to Maine? You don't even have to buy me Coach! I'll let you get away with Vera!

Okay, really going now. Got all dolled up because we are going to dinner after. Boots and all.

And I SO do treat MTP like a booty call. OMG. You nailed it, Lyz.

Red is definitely the way to go. Black is awful. Can't even stand sambuca.

Liz, have fun!!

Kelly! I forgot to post my food yesterday:

B: fiber one + milk (80)
L: Salad (40) + leftover eggplant pizza (150)
D: zucchini pizza (120) + jalapeno cheddar chicken sausage (90) + popcorn (180)
S: 4 beers (yeungling, anchor steam, flying dog wheat), 520

Total according to sparkpeople was 1180. Exercise, none. Water, 64 oz.

And, I forgot to post my beer findings yesterday. Beer calorie counting for the beer snob...

Anchor Steam is the winner at 152 cals and full-on taste. Flying Dog wheat, is 131 cals, and is a good hefeweizen if you like them (cloudy semi-sweet wheat beer). Yuengling is 135 cals, and okay. Sam Adams Pale Ale, if you can get it (we can't) is 145 cals. I have had it before in a mix pack and it is really good.

Kat - CSI:NY tonight! It was a really good Flack episode the other day - his sister ended up in AA and he kissed the policewoman :lovestruc
