In search of my body...not the one I ate! Part Deux... We sit at the popular table!

That's IT?!?!?! That's all we get??? :lmao:

Sorry.... it just wasn't that eventful.... we met for drinks, chatted about our jobs, families, his new puppy and speeding tickets (he had to appear today for one).

My outfit was my dark rinse trouser jeans, a red tee shirt with an ivory linen jacket. I opted for comfy shoes and wore my red patent leather loafers... I thought I looked cute and was glad I went with the jacket. He walked in wearing a suit....

As I said, it was kind of hard to read where this is going. I think he is interesting and would like to learn more. Given my past experiences, I am a little gun shy...

I am off to make my lunch and then head for bed....

BTW - I have been in Disney planning mode... Getting ready to make dining reservations for the big trip in December... :woohoo: :woohoo:

Goof

PAULA!! A date!! I am so glad it went well. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a jerk.

I hope Liz is busy getting ready for her trip and has a great time...

I will catch up more tomorrow, I promise.

I am thankfully back home in Raleigh-Durham. I left Wilson at about 5:30PM, came home, took a short nap, and went to hockey at 8 or so. Did the clinic and the pickup and got home around 11:15. SOOO much fun tonight!! I love it when it is mixed level and everyone gets to participate. Although the clinic is getting harder... I am not very good at skating backward w/ the puck around orange cones...

Paula, I am glad about your date!

Stacey, I am so sorry about your grandpa. I'm sending good wishes your way.

Today I leave for Vancouver. I will be bringing my lappie with me, so hopefully I can keep up with all of you. Thank you, again, for all your support in my life. The past few days have been choruses of "you look great! You look skinny!' and I know I wouldn't be here without all of you. :grouphug: Also, in this chaos of going away and swanky events and missing my kid already, I am still exercising! Crazy, huh?

So, where am I going? To Vancouver, to surprise Richelle, my official photographer. She is the friend who took those pictures that inspired me to walk into a WW meeting. She also took the Vegas one I used as a midway mark. She and her husband are our dear friends - I actually met her online! - and she has become one of my very best friends. She is simply amazing. This weekend her husband is throwing a surprise party for her 30th birthday and we are part of the surprise! She doesn't know we're coming so it's going to be a real surprise for her. I can't wait.

I'll be on and off today! Oh, and I SO would have taken pictures of the clothes, only if I put them up online she will see them! So I can't until we get there. ;) Got a great pair of sexy heels for $20 at Marshall's, though! And a really, really amazing dress at Express. Why, yes, I do have credit card debit, thanks for asking! :lmao:

GOOD MORNING!

I woke up with minimal pain, so that is awesome! I am going to do a short run today and see how that feels.

What are you doing for yourself today? Pick one thing...exercise, get your nails done, take a bubble bath, download a favorite and inspiring song...NO, not eating chocolate! That is only fleeting! Take care of YOU today. :goodvibes

WOO HOO...I did my 4.5 mile run today without issues! Finally! Starting to feel good again. I was worried that this was going to last for days.

Ok...tons to do...

Erika - Glad to hear that you are feeling better. We know how you like your daily runs...

It has been real quiet around here today - must be the weather and the fact that it is Friday. I won't be posting much this weekend due to my ongoing packing saga, but I did want to wish all the moms a

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hope you all enjoy your special day... I'll be with my mom and gram that day celebrating all the wonderful things they do for me and my life...

Enjoy the weekend everyone,
Paula

Goof - good luck with the packing.

And have a good day with the momma's. I don't have any big plans. Just take flowers to my mom and mil.

Ok. Here is a dress rehersal pic. The well hidden color of the costume is:

She's was tired of smiling, so she gave me a little attitude.

Lyz, super cute!

Liz, have fun in Vancouver. I can't wait to see pics. Btw, I showed Mr Kat a before and current pic of you and his comment was WOW, she has lost a ****-load of weight!

I was a samer today but I will take it... 166 is a reasonable pre-WDW weight and as my stretch goal for this time was 165, I am pretty happy about it.

Paula, glad the date went well! Good luck with packing.

Stacey, so sorry to hear about your grandfather.

Erika, glad your run went well... hope to catch up with you sometime this weekend!

I have finally caught up a bit, and today was pretty calm for once. I am back in Wilson on Monday, though, whee!!

OMG she looks so cute! Where are the pigs of Molli with her straight hair???

On iPhone but checking in to say HI!

So I hope that everyone is having a great day!:cool1: The sun was shining here and I think it was shining right on DH and I . We got our loan to build our house!!!:cool1: So if all plans go right we should be in by fall!!:woohoo: This is a HUGE HUGE step for us we have only ever rented before. We thought at ages 43 and 33 that we should grow up and have our own house.

As for my weight today I weighed myself and I gained two pounds but that was becasue of emotional eating and drinking last night, it was a rough night at work. They let people go and others have quit and they haven't hired to replace them and the work load is falling on three of us who work the evening shift. Then I applied for another job which was a dream job for working in healthcare because it had no weekend no holidays and it was working 9-5. I lost out on the job because I have only ever worked part time and they give jobs out by the number of hours you have worked not your start date which stinks.

I hope that everyone has a great mothers day!:flower3:

Erika you did great for running because I walked the first day and my legs hurt so bad I didn't go back to walking for a week! keep up the good work.

Stacey sorry to hear about you grandfather:hug:

Paula is there another date planned? Keep packing that way I can meet my first DIS'er!!!!!!!
Have a great day uh well night

How awesome of you to be with them both! Enjoy the day! I am sure they will be so happy to share it with you!

I am ready to go to Disney too!!!

And what exactly are you doing about that? Hmmmmm???? We have to get cracking on this!

Ohh, I can't wait to see the pic she takes. Have fun!

Cause you know she is gonna take pics of every freakin' thing...her dress, her shoes, her nails....:rotfl2:

And have a good day with the momma's. I don't have any big plans. Just take flowers to my mom and mil.

Totally cute! Wonder where she gets the attitude from.... :rolleyes1 :lmao:

166 is goddess-like! You have nothing to worry about! Your goal was to be under 170 and you killed that!

So glad work was better today. And now it is the week-end! Lots of sleep time and quiet time. You totally deserve it!

OMG she looks so cute! Where are the pigs of Molli with her straight hair???

On iPhone but checking in to say HI!

Ummmm..., Molli is the daughter, and the PIGS are in their new little house. :lmao: Just couldn't pass that one up.

Was Richelle surprised? Hope you have an awesome time!

WOO HOO for the loan! But beware...building is a LOT of work. Many couples get really tense with each other when building a house. There are just SO many decisions to make. And yeah, it is time! :rotfl2: Seriously, this is wonderful! Try to have fun with it!

I know. I need to put up pics of Molli's straightened hair AND the pigs. Everytime I go to take pics, Molli is not around. Just waiting on that. By the way, since she's at 6th grade camp until Sunday, they are MY responsibility. Fun.

Ummmm, this is my everyday life.

DH IS GREAT ABOUT THINGS LIKE THAT HE HASN'T A CLUE ON HOW TO DECORATE, ALSO THE GOOD THING IS WE ARE GETTING A MODULAR HOUSE SO THERE AREN'T TO MANY DECISIONS TO MAKE ABOUT THE ACTUAL BUILDING. THE ONLY THING HE LIKES TO DO IS PUT HIS FOOT DOWN ON THE SPENDING. I GREW UP IN THE CITY AND EVERYONE HAD PAVED DRIVEWAYS I NEVER HEARD OF NOT HAVING ONE TILL I MOVE HERE. AND I WANT ONE AND I WANT THIS AND THAT HE SAID TELLS ME ALL THE TIME NO NO NO WE CAN'T AFFORD THAT. I WAS AN ONLY CHILD AND GRANDCHILD FOR A LONG TIME I ALWAYS ALWAYS GOT WHAT I WANTED.:cloud9:
SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT THAT IS ALL WE USE FOR THE PROGRAM AT WORK NOT TO MUCH PHLEBOTOMY GOING ON TONIGHT! AND YEAH THEY GOT THE INTERNET BACK ON WE LOST IT FOR SOMETIME ALL BLOCK DO TO ADMINASTRATION.

I must have missed the AIM for tonight... a friend came over and watched the hockey game with us.

I have to admit to eating pizza and drinking beer tonight. My last 2 weeks finally caught up with me. But man, Sam Summer Ale is yummy!

Stephanie, congrats on the house!! I have to admit, the paved road comment made me laugh...

DAWN--haven't heard from you in days...please let us know what is going on. Hope all is ok!

Good Saturday Morning, Everyone!!!

I am suffering this morning from a nasty combination of cramps :headache: , muscle *awareness* from yesterday's workout, :rolleyes1 and...ummm...the residual effects of a bottle of red wine... SO...I think I"m going to go for a bike ride. :woohoo: Then I must work today, and sew, sew, sew...:scared:

I did indeed buy a pair of bike shorts yesterday. Not so much like a giant diaper as it is a mega maxi pad! Weird. Definitely weird. Hopefully they'll help to reduce that whole "saddle sore" feeling...:rolleyes1 Hope you all have a great weekend - and a very Happy Mother's Day to all you momma's out there! :flower3:

Good morning and happy week-end! (And Kat, it is almost 11, time to get up! :rotfl2: )

I was up bright and early this morning (which I hate) b/c I had to coach Kel's baseball game. I am not the regular coach...oh no...I don't have the patience for that. I could do it with older kids, but not at this level (when they hit the ball and then run toward third base!). But the coach couldn't be there today so I subbed-in. It was actually very fun and Kelly was SO excited that I was coaching, so it was worth it.

On the down side of the morning...I woke up really sore again. I thought I was over it since yesterday's run was pain-free. But I may have done too much yesterday after all. So no running for me again today. We'll see about tomorrow.

My big plans for Mother's Day...well, I share the day with the men in my life, so it is NOT all about me! It is both Riley and Jeff's birthdays, so we just have an all day celebration. Riley and I both requested to go out for breakfast for chocolate chip pancakes, so that is first up. :goodvibes And I am sure we will end up with both pizza and sushi for dinner :rotfl2: as well as dessert (and I will post pics of the cakes for those who are into the whole cake decorating thing).

Riley can't have his "friend" party this week-end since it is also Mother's Day, so that will be next Sunday. It is so hard to find a good theme for a party that just hasn't been done to death. All of the kids always do the same basic stuff...gymnastics party, or bowling, or roller skating, or the Chuck-e-Cheese type of places, etc. (And don't get me started on some of the girl parties...."high tea" and one girl even had a LIMO party! Yes, a limo came around and picked up each of the 6 girls and they rode around drinking juice out of champagne glasses and stuff. Crazy! :scared: ) We used to have them at this house, but at this age...no way. I will not have a dozen or so 9 year old boys tearing around my house.

Anyway, we decided to have it at the pool club...not an original idea, but no one has done it in ages, so all of the kids will be psyched to go. Plus we have the option of either the indoor or outdoor pool (which won't be likely in mid-May, but it has been known to happen), so we don't have to worry about weather issues. And the best part is that it isn't too much work for me. Just go set up the tables and throw a few balloons around and the staff will take care of the rest. :thumbsup2 Riley has requested a shark cake for that one, so we'll have to see about that....

Ok, lots more still to do....I'll likely be offline for the rest of the day.
