Interesting that you bring this up, Lisa. Liz and I were discussing it earlier. Believe it or not, I might not get on the scale tomorrow. I know it is the end of the challenge and all...and I have definintely lost.
But here's the thing. I have been here before. Done everything right (food, exercise, all of it), and I have lost inches and inches off of my body. But the scale never moved. For ages and ages it went like that. And it is really frustrating and infuriating. I knew I was making progress because my clothes were too big and I bought smaller sizes and all of that. But still, to never see that number move...it really deflated me. I was miserable. And right now I am doing SO well. I am 100% ON. And I am terrified that if the scale doesn't move tomorrow, then I will not only fall of the wagon, but I will do a head-first swan dive off the damn thing. This state of being ON is pretty fragile for me and I don't want to screw it up, if that makes sense.
Makes COMPLETE sense.
And treble workouts! You know what I have to say, so I'm not even gonna.
So, I'll just tell you how I do it.
). If you've never tried whole wheat pasta, or are afraid your family will revolt in protest, try Barilla Plus (yellow box) or Ronzoni SmartTaste (purple box). While they are not quite the same as whole wheat, they are enriched whole grain that look and taste very much like the white pastas - but a much better nutritional choice. Your family will likely not even notice the difference.
I know somebody has to do it, but who really wants to be that somebody?
