Yes, I KNOW Lyz didn't say no!

Ok, about running...since Lisa, Liz, and Dawn have all mentioned it. And specifically have mentioned hating it (though Liz occasionally visits the dark side).
Have I mentioned that I hated running for my whole entire life. I don't just mean I avoided it or anything...I HATED it. For example, I was a competitive swimmer in HS. The only reason I chose swimming as a sport? Didn't have to run. In hockey, I was to goalie. Why? Least amount of running. And on and on. I never ever ever in my life before this year ran more than one mile. And that was in college when we HAD to or fail PE. I swear, I almost took the F.
So when you say that you don't want to run because you hate it, I get that. Better than anyone. I spent years and years of my life coming up with creative reasons why I couldn't run. Including faking an injury in middle school and being on crutches for 2 weeks without reason. Yes, really.
And yet here I am. A runner.
If you start slowly with very low expectations and build gradually....well, I bet you just might like it. There are tons of ways to start out. You don't just put on sneakers and go for a run.
I tend to use this rule...if you like going for a walk, or walking for exercise, chances are you will like running. You might not love it. But you'll be ok with it. And trust me...if you get to the point where you can run a 5k comfortably, you will actually enjoy running. You will
However, of course that is not the only cardio option available (I LOVE LOVE LOVE my boxing class...omg, talk about stress release. I beat the ever-lovin-sh*t out of that bag and just leave everything on the gym floor). But my point is...don't eliminate running as an option because you *think* you hate it. You might be pleasantly surprised. No one is more surprised by my running addiction than I am.
Ok, end of running talk.
Got a text from Lyz. She is there and already going strong. Bob has a cold and was sleeping it off while she and the girls went to Epcot first...then the pool in the late afternoon. Temp is about 75.
Dawn--great pics.
LIZ--sorry about Em. Hope she turns the corner quickly. No fun, poor kid.
