in room movies at POR?

Does the POR have a DVD or VHS player in the room or is there rental availability?

Yes, I know that the idea of the vacation is not to sit in the room and watch movies, but I hope to have some down time for my 5 year old in the afternoons even if he does not nap. Movies are something that he enjoys at home and relaxes while watching. I hope to bring a little normalcy to the week to counteract all of the over-stimulation outside of the room.

I know what you mean about down time and putting in a movie is a perfect way.

No DVD or VHS player in the room. Not sure about renting. They do have the Disney Channel offered on the television. If you don't necessarily need the down time in your room, you could go to the lobby where they show movies and cartoons on the television.

We take a portable DVD player on the plane with us, so have been able to use that in the room if we really felt we needed it.
