Hi!
I was just wondering if housekeeping sterilise the jacuzzis in the villas inbetween guests. I am embarrassed to ask this (blush) as it may seem I am implying other guests are dirty. Not at all!

We have a jacuzzi at home and we have to put cleaning tablets in after each use and we have a sterilising fluid. I dont want to bring them on the plane with me as they are strong chemicals- they might leak in transit or something.

Also we have to use low foam bath bubbles to prevent a flood of bubbles, do most of you use the jacuzzi with no products in?

Is it safe for my 16 month old baby to enjoy the bubbles? I know the poolside hot tubs are out of bounds but is that because of the high temps they reach rather than the bubbles?

Thanks!

No they don't. A good way to do it though, is to take the diswasher detergent they leave in the room and place it in the tub along with HOT water. Allow the jets to run for about 10 minutes, and then drain the tub. Fill the tub with cool water and again, run the jets for 10 minutes to clean out the jets with any residual detergent. Drain, and you'll be good to go!!! The tubs at WDW are pretty deep, and the jets are located pretty high up, so the water level might be too high for a 16 month old to enjoy the bubbles. My 3YO was just big enough this year, after filling the water past the jets. The poolside jacuzzi's are kept at a VERY high temp, definately too high for babies. Also, there is no bubble bath allowed in the poolside jacuzzi's, just the bubbles created by the jets.

If you are staying at VWL, they have both Hot and Cool (pool temp) jacuzzi's. I haven't seen both at any other DVC location. They are by the main, WL, pool.

Have a great trip.
