In-room celebrations?

Thinking about adding one to our reservation for a birthday celebration. We've done these in the (pre-covid) past, but there's not a lot of information about what's available. Anyone have recent experience they could share?

I don't have an experience with actually seeing the in-room celebration...

BUT I did just book a birthday one for a Jan trip. I was able to do it while making some room requests at the GCH. There's only 2 birthday packages: a Mickey and Minnie, and I think the only customization was whether you wanted the included ears embroidered or not.

I know this is a while since you posted this, but how did the in-room celebration turn out that you ordered? I am considering it, but there's not much info online.

When I was celebrating my birthday at Disneyland I was given balloons and a autographed Happy Birthday photo of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in black and white. I'm not sure if it was part of a in-room celebration package but that's what I remember I got for my birthday at Disneyland

No, she has not been since 2004.

I was trying to be polite.

The statement wouldn't be a problem if they started with, "I remember in 1998 when I celebrated my birthday at a Disneyland hotel ....." Otherwise it is misleading.

Exactly! I was responding since she often does not come back to respond.

My parents got balloons and a card in the room for their anniversary in 2004. My Mom's birthday is noted on our reservation in September every year and she ha gotten a card once or twice in recent years, but usually nothing.
