Alas, it has been days since I ahve visited here!

My students are exhausting me this year.....
the weather is cooler this week, but we are still poking along
not in the groove yet....

I am ready for another LONG weekend
but it won't be happening...



Hope all the random kids are off to great school years....

My foot has been hurting.

Today I finallly had time to google it
since I am a webMD myself

and I think I have a stress fracture

Now I am debating, see a podiatrist
or go to emergency care center

called podiatrist and got answer maching (he works tuesday and friday)

DH is outside and not available for immediate consultation on my issues

Here is a was40 update

sore foot x-rayed and wearing a boot
maybe a stress fracture, didn't fall or twist it to sprain it

DD14 got her "new to her" mattress
and last night got a new bedroom suite, too
from a store, so brand new, not new to us
it is gorgeous, sleigh bed, high off the ground for our princess

Sorry guys I have been through a difficult time. My grandma passed away the 17th so thats why I have not been on lately.

Hi Randoms!

Tonight is the Homecoming dance, both DS and DD14 are attending. DD got a cute dress and this is officially her first date.
DS borrowed my brother's super cute convertible sports car for the event.
So far it is not raining, but it is threatening to...

DD14 has 15 other folks coming here for photos at the gazebo
8 couples going out to dinner then
with four or five moms driving since 14 year olds do not drive in PA

I hope to get some cute pics before the raindrops fall......
there is no good spot inside my house for 16 young adults...to pose...

DS is also going to dinner with a few other couples, but since he drives, I don't have to fuss with carpooling for him. The car he borrowed only seats 2, anyway!

Homecoming was wonderful for the was40 kids.
Lots of pictures makes the momma happy, too!

DH is travelling this week, so it will be a long one for me...

My workload is insane and my roommate and I have been having lots of problems with our suitemates and it has taken its toll on both of us. We are both looking to transfer but everything is very up in the air. cross your fingers for us that we are able to stay together at the school we are at now.
