DH is going out of town Friday and Saturday. I thought he would be back Saturday for his dad's birthday dinner....guess I am taking the kids and he will have to wish him a Happy Birthday via phone. It is hard to get everyone together once there are more adults than kids that have work schedules...

Hi to all I have not seen in a while

I'm going to Disney in October so I felt I needed to brush up on what's happening via the boards.

KIMMY!!! You will love WFE! My roommate kept telling me all year that I needed to read it and I finally got around to since work has been so slow and it was great! I've read 4 books for far at work and I've been paid to do it The playground have been really slow this year.

DD11 is getting braces today! So far she is excited....


DS was up at 7 to start his landscape job, he should clear $100 on it today, so he is pretty psyched! Money burns a hole right through his pockets, so it won't last him long....

I sent photos to York this morning for printing, really good sales thru the 27th, I chose free shipping which save almost $15, all my photos for under $25 (335 or some photos!)

Ah, it has been so fun this morning doing nothing
but the groceries are not going to miraculously show up at this house
and the kids are already whining about lunch
even though I just made ham, egg, and cheese bagels for them for breakfast
(no bacon, but I got lunchmeat yesterday)

Guess I should make a trippie to the store
the girls want lemonshakes
since I made them for them on vacation

(real lemonade fresh squeezed, made in individual glasses= lemon shake)

Hahaha at first I wanted summer to fly by because I miss all my friends and college life. But, I'm finally starting to enjoy summer and I don't want it to end. If I could go back to school and be with all my friends without going to classes then I would be very happy

Have you read the books?
Did you enjoy them/ did they go with the movie?

We read several Beverly Cleary books in fourth grade, Ramona Forever, Ramona the Pest. They are still well loved even with many newer authors about today. I think Beverly is in her 90s!

It is DH's dad's birthday, and we are going to a party for him tonight (just a family BBQ at home party)

I am making fruit salad, and yesterday I used cookie cutters to cut up the watermelon into fun shapes, and the kiwi, too! They are flowers and hearts and stars. The hearts and stars are less than an inch in size and the flower is just over an inch. It is so cute! I think I might cut some strawberry slice stars and hearts too.

I was going to skewer them on sticks, but it looks great just in a bowl. The grapes are just grape shaped!
