It was a HOT HOT HOT day at the playground today (That would be me exploding for the heat). It was awful and we only had 2 kids that came for like 15 minutes.

It was stinkin' hot here too
(but we have that cement pond that cools us off)

My feet were burning on my driveway when I ran out barefoot to greet a friend today!

I tie dyed matching shirts for us yesterday (on a whim, I wasn't going to tie dye, but the girls wanted me to) I have two rather pink fingers lingering today

I spent the day running to and fro and then visiting and babysitting...

DS and DD11 got physicals for school and fall sports
DD11 and I enjoyed the new beverages at Taco Bell (she had a strawberry fruitista freeze, and I had a limeade cooler) Both were very refreshing.

DD11 could have got a shot (meningitis, I think) but the doctor said since we were going on vacation, she should wait until after we come back (which means next year, since I doubt I will take her back for the shot before her next physical)

DD11 was VERY happy to have missed getting that today!

There were seven extra children here most of the afternoon (only two of which I was babysitting)


they just seem to keep multiplying!

I should start charging~ a little Disney fund for me!

It's going to be 95 here today I seriously doubt we will get any kids since their is an air quality alert out. I do have water balloons to fill up so if no one shows my partner and I can enjoy them

We are at our 180 days mark today so I got to make my first ADR (since we don't have a package yet I have to wait for each day of the trip's 180 day mark). We aren't doing the DDP but Mom wanted us to have the option of a sit-down each day. I got Sci-Fi Dine-In for our first day

I have Crystal Palace booked, but just saw that it is "seasonal pricing' which adds four bucks per person and there will be seven of us, so I am reconsidering it. The food is fine, but not fantastic and we don't need the buffet....

Friday, travel day if DH isn't too cranky, Blizzard Beach as soon as we drop off our stuff at the house! Possible dinners DS=Chili's DH=Lonestar DD11=Macaroni Grill obviously the momma will have to be the tie breaker here!

Saturday July 10 Hollywood Studios day! TSM, Tower of Terror, Rockin' Rollercoaster, TSM again, then a more leisurely pace for the rest of the day. We will be there at rope drop, of course! I am thinking Pluto shirts today

Sunday, Typhoon Lagoon from rope drop til afternoon...lunch there, then Wonderworks and the Outta Control dinner/magic show Red American Flag shirts today

Monday, Juy 12 Blizzard Beach until afternoon, then Downtown Disney, dinner reservations at House of Blues

Tuesday Animal Kingdom, all day reservations at Rainforest Cafe' Tie dye shirt day

Wednesday Typhoon Lagoon from open til afternoon, then Fun Spot for DS to ride the go karts and the dds to ride whatever, then on to Old Town and the street party and cruise in

THursday Blizzard Beach until afternoon, then Gatorland for a few hours and then to see Yehaw Bob at Port Orleans, dinner there

Friday Typhoon Lagoon (can you see we love the waterparks?) and then Ripley's in the evening

Saturday July 17 Magic Kingdom at rope drop, Crystal Palace (maybe) then park hop to Epcot Grumpy Shirts today

Sunday Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, whichever the kids want, then Arabian Knights Dinner Show

Monday travel day, possible waterpark if we aren't waterlogged by then, then to the airport at two


DD14 has requested two trips to the Dippin' Dots store
DD11 wants Taco Bell at least once

We will probably eat with my dad one evening, he likes Fat Boys BBQ and also Ponderosa on his senior citzen discount!

DD11 and I just painted our toes (and her fingernails) and did designs on them, swooshes and dots...they look cute

I am watching my friend's needy seven year old daughter so she can have a break today (actually DD14 is entertaining her)

The orthodontist called and had a cancellation for two pM today, so DD11 is heading there for her first consultation visit.

Oh I hate how hot it gets here. It was like 80 something at 9.

I have been walking around the pool each morning before it gets hot.
I really enjoy walking outside by the pool, I can go barefoot and enjoy the house and pool in the quiet of the morning. I also pull a weed here and there, check on the chlorine, water the plants....
It is a nice way to start the day!

DD11 needs braces on her BACK teeth, the front ones are already straight and beautiful. SHe is going to get them on when we come back from vacation. I think she is excited, actually!

Ugh 93 at almost 6 in the evening.

DH is off today, so we are counting it as our first day of vacation.

Unfortunately, we need to mow, visit the eye doctor, do laundry, pack, gather the garbage, water the plants......

DH got up early this morning and spread landscape rock that DS placed randomly around the landscape (this means NOT exactly where I intended it to go, but at least it is now spread)

My plan is to clean out the fridge by making the kids eat all the leftovers and things that need used up.

DS works 10-12 AND 3-9 today (swim lessons and then lifeguarding)

I have one more load of laundry to do and then EVERYTHING except what we are currently wearing is clean! (this rarely happens!) The DD's are still in jammies so that they have the choice to pack EVERYTHING!

Dad and I are going to Virginia next week (Thursday-Sunday) to visit my Aunt and Uncle. My Aunt is very sick (she's at the top of the list for a heart transplant) and my Uncle has been in the funk so it will be nice for them to see family.
