coddle the sickly
bar graphs, line graphs, stem and leaf plots in math
taxied DS to school meeting spot for carpooling to special event in Pittsburgh
learned way more than I ever wanted to know about the Spanish American war
(I hope there is a Jeopardy question about it soon, as I am now an expert)
walked outside in the cold with DH, the exercise enthusiast who is supposed to get 10,000 steps in a day, for a work wellness thingy jigger
visited Giant Eagle
made chicken noodle soup (okay, heated up chicken noodle soup)
unearthed the humidifier for DD10's room (stuffy nose)
wrote one scathing email to DD10's very un-compassionate teacher (signed it DH and me, but put DH's phone number) (tee hee hee) (sent email)
one load washed, waiting patiently
picked DS up at school when his event was over
skipped swimming altogether

that about covers it

I am off school (taking a sick day).
I am not sick. DD10 is. And DS is getting a root canal today.


I did take a morning nap already, with DD10, so at lleast it is a restful day.
DD10 wants to go to school. She is bored already, and she has the was40 "never miss" ethic.
She woke with a fever, though, so no school today.

We are making play doh right now.

I have to pick DS up at one to go for the dental work.

I took DD13 to swimming tonight
and as I left the school
I was shocked to see flashing lights behind me....

Nothing makes your stomach churn like seeing police lights behind you.


I pulled over
DD10 saying "why are you stopping?"
and the police went by

no confirmed cases at my children's school
one case at mine, in another elementary building
nothing on the news about it though

We have a party Tuesday at our church
