DD13 was to attend a local Fright Farm haunted hayride/haunted house tonight with a gaggle of friends, but it is now raining.
It is a huge affair, costs $12 per person, so a no go if the weather is crummy.

I am thinking of unplugging it.
It has not been for me one time, only for the under 14 crowd.

It's pouring rain here too! It's also cold as heck! What a yucky day. I hope it clears for DD13 for tonight.

DH has canceled DD13's fun for tonight.
Raining now, 70 percent chance at five, goes down to 50 percent chance at seven PM. Not tonight, he says. Since he is the driver, his word goes. Maybe next weekend!

I sent all the extra gals except the sleepover ones (who are apparently staying all day) home so I could fix lunch for four, instead of nine.

That lasted a half hour or so, since the house is full again.

Did I ever give you the update on Pap?

He was in pain when my dad went back, probably from falling.
The doctor said to call on Monday if he wasn't better, so they called on WEDnesday.......
and on Friday he passed a kidney stone
and is now back to his usual non complaining self


WHy go to the doctor, he figured he probably just broke a rib.
