On Sunday my boyfriend of 41/2 years broke up with me.....he told me his reasons....but after talking to a lot of people who know both of us....I'm even more confused.....it was so sudden and so unlike him.....we're both graduating in may......and as soon as october he had been talking about how much he couldn't wait until we were both out of school and could be together.....its Christmas and I am very depressed......any suggestions?? I miss him so badly and haven't spoken with him since sunday..... :sad1:

Aww, I'm sorry that happened. *hugs* I don't have any advice for you, but lots of pixie dust going out your way! :wizard: :wizard:

:wizard: gosh, wow. I'm sorry, is all I can think to say. I hope everything works out for the both of you, and whatever happens is probably for the best in the long run. Here's wishing you lots of pixie dust... :wizard:

Breakups are tough. You are doing a good thing by not calling him, though. Guys always want you when they think you are uninterested. Hope your holidays are good. You have many years to meet many more Prince Charmings!

Jeez, I'm sorry. It seems like everyone and their brother (and yes that includes me) is going through a really rough breakup from like a 2-3 year long relationship this Xmas :(

I'm so sorry to hear about your break up. There is nothing I can really say to make things better but I have read a couple books that have made things easier. The one that deals with break ups is "Its Called a Breakup Because Its Broken", and then another one that provides great motivation and insights is "He's Just Not That Into You". I hope you try your best to still have happy holidays, and don't let it ruin the season or provide bad memories for you. Sending lots of Pixie dust your way :wizard:

I'm sorry to hear everyone is having a less-than-fun time this Christmas. I can't do much to help, unfortunatley, usually it just takes time. If anyone needs to talk, feel free to contact me... we can talk Disney, that always cheers me up. Hope the holiday season can pull some happy surprises your way.
--Always--
Angela

I wish I could help you! But I'm stumped!!! *hugs you* :*(
Sending extra doses of pixie dust your way!!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

At least he told you his reasons. Some guys don't.

My very best advice: Consider it his loss, and try to keep busy.

Pixie dust coming your way, hon.

Thanks for the pixie dust and hugs :goodvibes Been trying to take all the advice I'm getting and keep busy....taking it one day at a time for now

Hang in there.

It may take a while, but you will move on.
And then he will want you back.
Write yourself a *NOTE* each week on how you feel, how out in the cold and alone you are --- broken hearts suck - most of us know! --- so when he does try to tell you that 'he realizes he needs you' you can remind yourself of this awful time.

HUGS.
