So at the last minute I have decided to plan a SURPRISE 5th birthday WDW vacation for my son and I. My husband is currently serving overseas and it will be nice for just DS and I to get away, we have 2 other children as well. We're obviously on a military budget so I'm trying to look for the best deal. I priced out Shades of Green overflow rate, military discounted tickets, paying for dinning out of pocket, and the new free ticket upgrade promotion. It just so happens that we had a pin code attached to our name. So for the dates April 3-8, 6 day park hopper, dinning, All Star Movie, and no trip insurance it came to $1227.50. This was the best deal I could find. Does that sound like a good deal? I can never tell...I need validation! Also with dinning no longer including tip what should I budget for tip? Do you tip at buffets? Thanks!
