Amazing interview video of a blind man who escaped the World Trade Center, led by his Guide Dog.
He said he needed to stay calm for his dog and his calmness helped others who were evacuating with him.

And thank you to all the amazing emergency workers, relief workers, and military members who work every day to keep us safe.

My wife is a veteran (in fact, was home on leave for her mother's funeral when 9/11) happened, and my father was supposed to be in the Pentagon that day (Navy veteran who still works for the military)... I can't believe it was 10 years ago...

Wow. Thank you for sharing that. That was inspiring. I have a balance disorder. When I was still adjusting to my condition we had a fire drill at my work. I was on the 4th floor, and hadn't thought about the elevators not being accesible during a drill/fire. I remember becoming filled with panic. How could I walk down those stairs without falling. I since have tried to think thru scenerio's when I am in different surroundings. This man is inspiring. I can't imagine remaining that calm in such a uncertain atmosphere. God bless him and his life dog. And again, thanks for sharing.
