Margaret Borland, DW of Jim Kazooie, passed away this morning.

I am so sad to bring this news to this community. For those of you who know the Borlands, you know that this news is not unexpected, but that does not make it any easier to accept.

Margaret was an amazing woman. She took an impossible diagnosis and spit it right back. She took punch after punch, and popped back up like one of those blow-up clowns with the sandbag in the base.

In between the punches, Margaret raised a magnificent daughter. Tory is a brilliant 15-year old junior at Towson State University. (Yup, you read that right.) Tory is witty, wonderful, and possessed of a poise far beyond her years -- another gift from her mom.

Margaret did not let her situation prevent her from sustaining her friends. Time and time again I saw her offer an ear to another pinpal in distress. She had a fire that was unconsumable.

DH Jim has been a rock through all of this. Now it's time for us to give back a little, and help him (and Tory) through this toughest part.

For me, DH Malcolm, DS#1 Nati, DS#2 Josh, and DD Meri -- it was our privilege to have known Margaret Borland.

I only met Margaret once, but she had a special light within her that shined out on those that she met, and I consider myself fortunate to have at least had the chance to meet her that one brief moment in time.

God bless her, and God bless you and Tory, Jim.

Ruthie

I am very sad to hear this. I too only meet her a few times but both Sandy and I will miss her. Our hearts go out to Jim and his family.

I echo Nat. I am very sad to hear this. Our hearts go out to Jim and his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and Tory. I too only met Margaret once, but we had a very nice chat. She was a fiesty lady.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

We were very happy that Margaret was able to come with Jim and Tori to some of our pin meets. We enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with her and Jim and Tori. We know she was quite a fighter continuing to make trips to WDW and sharing those times with her family whenever possible. Our hearts go out to Jim and Tori and we will keep them and Margaret in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and Tori. I met Margaret just a couple of times, and you can see what a fighter that she was

I am so sorry to hear this. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Parkhoppers.

My thoughts and prayers to the family
