In light of recent Alamo coupon confusion at MCO

Quick question

As many have reported, coupons (when checking reservations online) seem to no longer appear to be valid for rentals out of MCO on existing reservations. Many have called into their CS department and been assured that the coupon is still valid and to bring the confirmation print out with you in case there are any issues.

Since their new website will not allow anyone to get past the *THIS LOCATION NO LONGER ACCEPTS COUPONS** Banner, and thus there is no ability to do online check-in, Im wondering about the kiosks at the airport. Are we still able to check in using the kiosks upon arrival and then head out to the car lot? We are Insider Members... does that make a difference (but this will be our first time using the Insider program on our reservation)

I just dont want to get in the physical line to talk to a CS before heading out to pick out our car... it's one of the reasons we choose Alamo- it's so much quicker... but will I run into the same glitch at the kiosk, as I do online checkin?

Anyone experience recent rentals at MCO with Alamo since the coupon fiasco started popping up ?

Well, turns out I saved $30 additional by scrapping this reservation (that was using the VISA code) and swapped in a code from my WDW annual pass... saved more money, and eliminated the potential hassle at check in. Was able to do it all online and can just walk out to the garage after collecting baggage.

Didnt want to chance having an issue with a reservation they may potentially not honor.
