I'm glad everything worked out well for you, I know how hard it is to leave the home that you have been in.

We will be signing papers on our new house on Wednesday, we are planning the 50+ plus years you have had in your home!

I believe I've already asked "which way to Foxwoods" - LOL.. Only kidding though as I'm not a gambler..

My sister already called this morning.. "Did the closing go through? When are you coming? Do you want me to send you the money in advance till the checks clear?" It's not the plane fare that's keeping me here - it's other business that needs to be taken care of before I hop on a plane and take off..

We've already been through all of this - sometimes she can SO dense! LOL
I have quite a few things I need to take care of before I leave - and now my DD's in-laws have decided that they're going to Florida (leaving March 1st and won't be back till the 21st) so due to my DD's new position and her screwy hours, I'll have to stay here to take care of my DGD till the in-laws are back.. No big deal though because the longer I put off the trip to Florida, the closer I'll be to heading right up to the lake as soon as I get back..

I want to spend the next two weeks or so test driving cars and then hopefully closing a deal at the end of this month..

Boy - did I ever sleep good last night! No waking up at 5:30 a.m. - slept right on through till 8.. Once everything else is taken care of, I'll probably go to sleep and not wake up for a month - LOL..

I am sure you felt good about it because you felt good about the person buying it.

When my DSIL & DBIL sold their house, they sold it to a young couple they "sort of" knew through everybody's mothers, so they felt good to know that a nice young couple was going to be in it, starting their life together...
