Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actress, and Supporting Actor. (If there's any film buffs here who want to go deeper go ahead!)

Best Picture: The Revenant

Best Director: Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu – The Revenant

Best Actor: Leonardo DiCaprio – The Revenant

Best Actress: Brie Larson – Room

Best Supporting Actor: Sylvester Stallone - Creed

Best Supporting Actress: Alicia Vikander – The Danish Girl

I'm probably not the one to ask, since the only Best Picture nominee I saw in 2015 was "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2".

Best Picture: Spotlight

Achievement in Directing: Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu – The Revenant

Best Lead Actor: Leonardo DiCaprio – The Revenant

Best Lead Actress: Cate Blanchett - Carol

Best Supporting Actor: Mark Ruffalo - Spotlight

Best Supporting Actress: Alicia Vikander – The Danish Girl

Animated Feature - Inside Out

Adapted Screenplay -The Martian

Original Screenplay - Spotlight

Cinematography - Toss up between The Hateful Eight and The Revenant

The Revenant may win best picture, but it doesn't deserve to IMO, and I'd prefer to see Abrahamson win for Achievement in direction (or McCarthy for that matter), but I don't think he will. Best Supporting Actress is really a toss up for me. Supporting actor may go to Stallone, but Ruffalo was so good in Spotlight, that I couldn't not pick him.

Think the only one I've seen is Inside Out, haven't even really heard of some of the rest of them. So I probably don't even deserve to HEAR about Pete's party, let alone stalking room @ the studio window.

I predict that DH is going to steal the remote and turn off the red carpet show before DD9 and I have any real time to appreciate the fashion. And then I further predict that I'll miss the early parts of the show putting the kids in bed and be stuck watching the rest in the playroom while DH watches something 'more educational' (his words...not mine).

I honestly haven't seen enough of the movies to give predictions that go beyond comparing picks from so-called expert sites. My biggest thing this year is that I really dislike Leonardo DiCaprio, so I might have to turn it off whenever he's on...especially if he wins.
