Hi,
We are flying out on Saturday 15th August with flyglobspan our flight is direct (without the Ireland stop off) if it makes any difference and i was wondering if anyone has used them recently and can tell me what the In-Flight movie's were outbound and inbound, I know its maybe a bit early and they might change by August.
cheers dave

Hi,
I guess flyglobspan are not a very popular airline then.

On their website they say the movies are changed every 2 months and there are 2 movies shown per flight.

Doesn't say what the movies will be though.

Sorry no idea. Would love to know how you find the airline though. We have used them in the past and would hope to in the future. Best wishes.

hello

we flew out on 20/07/09 with globespan and saw Mall Cop and charlie and the chocolate factory,on our return we had duplicity ? and pirates of carribean 3. not the most exciting of films and shown on small overhead TVs or a big drop down screen- not giving the best of views or picture qualities I'm afraid. Probably best to take a good book or borrow an ipod touch or similar personal video player.

have a good trip

thisyear was the 3rd time we have flown with them:

we have always gone from glasgow--good medium sized airport with enough facilities whilst waiting to leave and quick and easy to pick bags up on return

planes seem to be fairly old, food as you would expect on a plane(no better or worse than other ailines),staff friendly and attentive,in flight entertainment poor-only overhead screens and drop down screens on bulkheads-they need seat back tv and more modern films.Punctuality has been good.Ample legroom

price wise -they are competative, especially if you have some date flexibility and are prepared to leave your booking late-check out the flyglobespan website

Overall, not the worlds best airline but far from the worst-would certainly think about using them again.

hope this helps

We recently (last week) flew back to Glasgow with US Airways. It was excellent except for inflight entertainment. There were overhead screens which even at best are continually interrupted by the constant (but understandable) traffic in the aisle. On this occasion the film was Star Trek which I would loved to have seen. Unfortunately I was in the row where the nearest screen was directly over my head and the screen in front was just too far to see comfortably. Unavoidable of course - but then they decided to pass out dinner at the very same time as starting the movie so anyone wishing to view would almost certainly have missed the first 10/15 minutes with the cabin staff only doing their jobs. Postponing the movie for 15 minutes seemed such an easy solution .......

Fortunately my son had loaded several movies onto my iPod.

US Airways flights from London and Manchester I believe have seatback screens but the advantage of walking through my front door 45 minutes after landing at Glasgow outweighs the disadvantages
