We are flying to Sanford on 22nd of October with Thomas Cook and have booked meals, our flight leaves Gatwick at 10.25am and we were wondering if any of you have flown with them recently and could tell us what we'll be getting in the way of meals.

Last time we went to Florida we got breakfast a while after take off and got lunch too but that was nearly 20 years ago:eek: DH thinks that once onboard the plane we're on Florida time so will therefore get breakfast, I wanted to find out whether we should eat at the airport before boarding and/or take food as DS eats like a horse & is not a happy bunny if he's got a rumbly tumbly.

We just flew with them, it was hard overcooked chicken and mush both ways. We also got 2 bread soldiers (honestly it would have been half a slice of bread with the crusts cut off) 1 with egg 1 with cheese. They also gave us a miniscule icecream cone on the way there.

Take some food with you. :)

Flew with them a few years back and had decent food - a meal and then sandwiches going and a meal and breakfast on return.
Have you looked on their website - I know on BA you get sample menus

Thank you for your replies, I think we'll have breakfast at the airport & take some food to eat on the plane.
