DDs have the usual camis from Aero, Kohls, etc., in every color as they seem to be a necessity for junior wear. They are fine just for wearing under something thin, but when they wear a V-neck or lower neckline shirt on top, the camis don't come up as high as they would like. Especially on DD12 who is short. And she didn't want a sleeveless type shirt like I would wear- she wants a cami with straps.

We got the wonder camis from Down East Basics and they are a couple of inches closer to the collarbone than the standard cami. Just thought I would share in case it was helpful to someone else!

Thanks. Where do you buy this brand? My almost 14yo dd is always searching for more modest clothing than what is available at most stores.

thanks for this. DD is short so even with the cami straps adjusted all the way, the cami is still too revealing

I just some half cami's at Walmart last week. They come 3 to a pack and were around $10. They come up higher than regular cami's and will be cooler for summer. I got them in black, white and gray, but they had more fun colors as well. They were right by all the sport bras. They also have them online Fruit of the Loom - 3-Pack Strappy Sport Bras, Style 9036.

This is something I'd love for myself! I am always falling out haha

Yes, I probably should have ordered one for myself too. I like my necklines to be similar to a crew neck, so when I have to layer, I have sometimes worn a ribbed tank backwards so it will come up higher. Works if it has a full back rather than a racerback. But one I can wear forwards would be better!

I prefer to wear things that don't require layering in the first place, but I have picked up a few things that need a tank top.
