In and Out policy with Disney resorts

Will Disney ever revoke their free in and out policy for their resort guest? It would discourage leaving property to eat and such. I was just wondering about such.

What free "in and out" policy are you talking about? If it's parking, then resort guests already don't pay to park at the parks.

I am referring to being able to come and go at your resort hotel as you please for free. The Swan and Dolphin don't allow such.

@SL6827 very unlikely they will do away with it. People go to the parks they go to Disney Springs, and beyond Disney I really doubt Disney isn't going to start charging and in and out fee, doesn't make sense with getting free parking at the parks.

Hopefully not. We are driving (as of now) in January and will be eating several meals offsite to compensate for thier parking fees.

@SL6827 S/D only charges and in and out fee for non-registered guests. If you are having a meal at S/D then you should get it waved as long as you're parked there under 3 hours.

Also on their website for the signature restaurants at the bottom you should see under Reserve a Table, "Complimentary valet and self-parking spots are available. Call 407-934-1199 or click Reserve Now to make a reservation." The reason I mention the app is so you know what dates/times the restraunts are open, not all are open everyday. Have a great trip.

It helps all of us to correct misinformation! I read that post and wondered if something had changed that I was unaware of.
