In an AKV Value 1BR right now

Hi all.

Checked into our 1BR Value yesterday at 6:30pm. Scored a Savannah view! I don't find the value small at all. It's a great size for the 4 of us (DS 2+5). Plenty of room. I don't miss that extra 3 feet at all. There's a giraffe out our window as I type this. My inlaws checked into a 2BR Value yesterday as well and got the parking lot view, but with the trees around you don't really notice it too much. Kind of peaceful. They thought they have plenty of room for the 8 of them. Needless to say I will try to get a value the next time. Such a points saver! Great location close to the lobby. I was expecting to feel a bit cramped but am coming away pleasantly surprised. My room was reserved at the 7month window and the inlaws were about a week or two after the 7month window.

We had a value studio at Christmas. Loved being so close to the lobby and we had a pool view. Our room was right next to the elevator that took you down to the pool. So convenient!

We had 4 of us - DH, myself and DD's 18 and 14 and it was fine for us as far as space.

I too will book value again. To me, saving points = more vacations!

Can you post a picture of the kitchen area? I'm interested in the 1BR points-wise, but I'm afraid I'll hate the modified kitchen layout. I think I've seen floor plans, but not actual pictures.

Thank you! That's perfect. I hadn't seen the island/table thing before. It really helps the aesthetic.
