I just returned from a 13 day trip to WDW in May and Im in a serious Disney depression....i just feel so far removed from the kingdom and Im just bummed that I wont be attending the big Dis celebration this month. In from Ma and usually visit 2-3 times a year but Im out of vacation time at work ugh. O the self pity :(

Sorry to hear, I can identify. Can/will planning the next trip (no matter how far away) help? Used to help me. Or maybe watching some podcasts?

I hate the Disney blues! What helps me is planing my next trip. Maybe you can start thinking about the things you'd like to do, see, etc??

my wife wants to skip Disney next year and go on a Norwegian Cruise. And every dang video that the Dis puts out I watch.....we are planning to move to Orlando in a few years just so I can be closer to WDW... I just hate that all this stuff at Disney Springs is opening and Im not there grrr.

I am right there with you. There is no way I was able to plan and pay for a trip for the 10 year anniversary. I am hoping to go to Disneyland for my anniversary next year, but not sure if it will happen. If not I am not going to any parks until 2018 at the earliest. Be strong. We can do this!

Really..? I'm kinda in a Disney overload I think I've done way too much so now Im just on pilot mode instead of hyper mode.

WDW Aulani a Disney Crusie and Disney Land in a year will do that to a person lol.

Plan your next trip you'll snap out of it

The Disney Blues are the worst feeling. If I were you I would start planning your next trip, even if it is two years away.

I used to get this way too when I was a kid and come back home.
But this was when the internet wasn't readily available for an endless supply of audio/video/photo content to hold me over.

I bet those last 2 days were the worst. Its like UGH, i gotta go back home

Try having a Disney obsession and living in a country more than 12 hours away by plane... cheapest return flight is around USD$1200 each... have been last 3 years in a row to the Land but not this year due to work commitments plus total costs...

Making up for it next year though, hopefully will make it to the World (12 hour flight plus a 5 hour flight costing around $1500 each...) in September!

1. Plan your next trip, even if it's not going to be for 2-3 years. I'm already planning my first Disneyland trip, even though it's not for another 12 months.
2. I've found it helpful to listen to WDW music loops on YouTube. The Epcot entrance loop, Soarin' queue loop, and Main Street USA loops are favorites of mine.
3. Listen to Connecting with Walt and dive into the history of the company and the parks. Will help you see the big picture.
4. Disney classic movie nights.

We all know the feeling!

We went in April for a last minute trip and I won't be returning until November. I really wish I had the vaca days for a quick July podcast trip, but alas I do not have the vacation (or the vacation funds ;) )

Start planning a little bit just for fun!

Have you looked into just living closer :) It worked for me and I actually have more of my paycheck and go on cheaper vacations now :)

Love the WDW music loops. They really brighten a glum day at the office.
