In 2020, Fastpass Would Have Allowed More Social Distancing

In 2020, when Disney World reopened and before vaccines came out, in my opinion, keeping the Fastpass plus system would have allowed guests to social distance because the pass would allow guests to wait in a virtual line and they could wait sitting on a bench or elsewhere in the park. This would of been the best option at that time. This was my 2 cents. I sure miss the old system. Especially the Fastpass plus was also wonderful for those with a physical disability or medical condition who could not stand in line for long periods of time (such as arthritis or back or knee pains) and for those who have cognitive conditions such as Autism and ADHD.

Genie+ is a loss for a lot of people that need DAS and an established schedule. For it's intended purpose of making you more spontaneous (by making you wait several hours for the next ride), it sure taxes individual schedules where the old system did not.

I wish they would've monetized the old FP, guessing that wasn't an avenue because they could maximize profits by making everyone in the parks buy Genie+ day of - much larger crowd.
