From going to Lanzarote for two weeks in October I had inspiration and decided three weeks at WDW was a better option. The <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=christmas&v=56">christmas</a> blues had set in as this <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=time&v=56">time</a> last year we were there and I have freinds out there now and freinds going in 2005.
Anyway I need all your help as I have decided to book independently [as per our last couple of trips], for some reason my mind has gone blank as prices quoted to me seem to be sky high!

So far we have <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=flights&v=56">flights</a> with Delta via <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=Atlanta&v=56">Atlanta</a> booked for 19-10-05 returning on 09-11-05 and paid in full with Trailfinders £1,586 [4 adults as the boys will be 16+12], All Star <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=Movies&v=56">Movies</a> at $123 per night [ this is high in my opinion? <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=Disney&v=56">Disney</a> told me to call back to try and get cheaper rates or annual pass rates, not available now!!] and we also got 4 x annual passes!!

Ok now I need <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=car&v=56">car</a> hire in Orlando and parking/hotel at LGW any suggestions?

When we booked ourselves for Feb 2003 and Xmas 2003 everything quoted was 25% cheaper has there been a price hike or am I out of touch.

Advise needed for <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=hotel&v=56">hotel</a> rates at <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=Disney&v=56">Disney</a>, <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=car&v=56">car</a> hire etc.

Gosh I envy you - I've got another 18 months to wait! The price is high for ASMo, however you can keep checking, especially sort of September time when you will probably find the rates are out. Are you a subscriber of mousesavers.com? If not, join as you'll get the discount codes as & when they come out. Using this I got ASMo for $60/night (incl. tax) earlier this month.
I've always used holiday extras for hotel & parking at LGW & we always opt for the holiday inn express on the squareabout. It's about 10mins drive from the airport (close, but not so close all you hear are planes). You also get breakfast included which many other places do not. Also on the squareabout is a harvester & a amerixan style diner (smart dress req'd) so getting dinner is easy & relatively cheap.
For the car hire, it depends. We looked at Dollar gave the same platinum package as Virgin, but considerably less. I don't know how your plans are working out, but you could save a couple of days car hire by using the Magic Express thingy that launches in May.

Enjoy the planning 7 I hope you have a great trip - don't forget MNSSHP!

Disney have not raised their room prices from 2004-05 (not sure re 2003-04 though) however they do work in seasons. Depending when your first night of check-in was for your Feb and Xmas trip, it could be that you checked-in during Value Season, whereas your October trip will be Regular Season therefore = more expensive.

With your Annual Pass's though you may be able to secure a discount - these can run up to 40% off the rack rate - though these are obviously never guaranteed.

Can't help with the car hire as always get fly-drives.

For the parking @ LGW, then you could check out www.abcholidayextras.co.uk - you can get a room there at an airport hotel for the night before your flight which includes 15 nights parking.

For rooms I would suggest you look at booking with Dreams unlimited travel ( connected to this site) . They check your room rates periodically and if there are cheaper rooms available they will automatically rebook you at the cheaper rate. It saves you a lot of time and money calling the USA to check on room rates. MAke sure you tell the agents you have an AP and they will use that in order to get you the applicable discounts.

Car hire, the company I used the last few times was http://holidayautos.com/ which is part of lastminute.com. I've had no problems with them and they were either the cheapest of very close to the cheapest I found at the time.
