Imported vs. US lenses ?

I was so impressed with YECKIM and the pics from the zoo I went to ebay and tried to find the lens that was used to take the photos. I found on and there was a question as to whether it was US or imported. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? will they both work on my D80?

Both are exactly the same. With the US lens you will get Nikon's US warranty. Imported (or grey market) lenses usually come with a similar warranty provided by the retailer. Check that out before you buy.
