i dont even try to go into the "free" rooms, because usually its just junk that they give out and its a fight just to get up to the person because people dont understand the concept of a line. its not even worth it.

Yeah it is pretty much junk, but sometimes I need junk. (Chairs ropes etc.) for my rooms.

I am glad you did not lose your items. We must all remember to be very careful when trading. Never accept unless the items the other person is offering are in the window. Take your time and make sure everything is correct before you accept the trade.

hey now, I had a room titled "Free Pirate Organs" and I had about 15-20 to give away, and I legitametly gave everyone who came into the room a free pirate organ. or skeleteon monkey lamp, or poster. or all of the above.

Ok, but there's a difference, here. Free pirate organs are not a "too good
to be true" item. I'd easily believe "free pirate organs" over a "free magic"
room.

So it's a matter of what you'd believe. Anything given away from the free
game would make sense to me. Anything that takes work to get....not
so much.

But it's always been a nice surprise to see people randomly put semi-rare
items in their quest machines.

A lot of my friends in the game go to these free stuff rooms. I check my friends list a lot and all I see is them in rooms saying "free stuff, leaving vmk" and I get annoyed because they are not trying to get stuff the old fashioned way by playing Pirates, Fireworks, Jungle Cruise, and HM Game.

Then why do you go to them? If you and everyone else who KNOWS that
this is a "too good to be true" guest room, the players who make these rooms
wouldn't have anyone to frustrate.

Do yourself a favor and just avoid going to any guest rooms that say
anything too good to be true, like "free stuff, leaving VMK" and the
"free magic" rooms you've described.

Sadly, people WANT to believe these rooms are true and they waste their
time going to them.

Ditto to what Mal said. In addition, I suspect we may have some posters who don't speak English as their primary language. I know there are people with various learning disabilites on this board.

Please, when you post, do the best you can to communicate clearly.
