Hey everyone (: I hope I can get some answers by Friday. We are going to DC in Orlando and have within the past month rescued a Chihuahua from the streets. She had been on her own for a while. Anyway we have had her for a month and she has become very clingy and attached to me and my daughter and we have also figured out that she does not like being around other dogs. (work in progress) My question is have any of you used the kennels at Sea World? I realize we will have to take a shuttle over to walk her but my concern is that the only pics I have seen of the kennels are outside and for big dogs. She only weighs 5 lbs. She will be a nervous wreck either way. I checked into a doggie daycare nearby but they don't open until 10am. Anyone know? Thanks so much

I have never used the kennels myself but they have 3 different size kennels, basically a small, medium, and large. I thought they were all inside except for the actual dog walk area, so I am not sure which picture it is you have seen, unless there are some temporary cages in the walking area.

It is not a big building, so all the cages may be close together, but at least she should be able to have her own cage.

Thank you Floir I may have to try to make a call to them about it. Maybe someone has used them and can give their opinion on the place. I did find a pet daycare/boarding place that sounds good but its about 13 miles away. Thanks again for replying.

The kennels at Sea World are inside and air conditioned. You could also check with Williamsburg vet (right around the corner from DC). I think they do day boarding.
