Important off topic: SIGNATURE GUIDELINES

Hi everyone!

I know that we have a lot of new folks here on the VMK board, and we all love new faces here on the DIS. Welcome to everyone!

With all of the new faces around, I wanted to take the opportunity to make sure that everyone knows the guidelines for DIS signatures. I've noticed a lot of signatures that do not meet the guidelines, and there is a chance that they could be removed by the signature fairy if they do not meet board guidelines.

So take a moment to check out your signature to make sure that it falls within the signature guidelines. I hate seeing people disappointed when their signature is removed by the signature fairy.

i think i'm on my last warning for my signature so i'm wondering if mine is too big

or it goes over the guidelines i'm not too good with things like that

The combined total of bytes for your CL_wdwlover and the soarin' graphics are over the 50,000 bytes limit (the soarin' one alone is over the limit).

You can check to see if your graphics are within the guidelines by right clicking on them.

I read the guidlines but I am wondering the bytes or whatever they are

Bestofme, you are just a smidge over the 50000 byte total (about 600 bytes over). The Mickey graphic on the left throwing the ball has a lot of bytes in it. If you get the bytes on that one (or any of the others), you should be fine.

LOL, I don't think I ever have to worry about going over considering I don't even know how to attach a picture. I just barely got this glittery signature on LOL. I have been on this dis for a very long time and still I hardly know enough. There is always something new to learn everyday lol

Suzy, try saving it somewhere else like DIS photopost or imagestation.

Mine sig came out like this.How can i fix it.

Start fresh on your signature. Click on the little yellow square that looks like mountains on it. A pop up box will come in. Enter the address where the picture is stored, and hit OK. That puts the code right in there for you.
