I'm laughing so hard I'm actually crying!

Remarkable resemblence to the man that was photographed jumping the fence at Stormalong Bay with the AS shirt and mug in hand....hmmmmmm;)

That man just keeps seeming to pop up. He was in a hammock at the Poly too, when we were there, but my photo card was full, so I couldn't take pics of him!

Doris

Um....Doris......could I borrow that map to wipe the tea off of my computer screen? :goodvibes

Here I am DISsing (do I double the 's'?), when I should be writing report cards. You guys!

I have one of the Happy Holidays 1998 that I got at the Beach Club in the summer of 1999. They had run out of refillable mugs at the time, so. . . do I get refills at Yacht and Beach Club? :hyper: Or through the parks at some Christmas deal?

You know, you don't need those little cups at Ice Station Cool. I know. Ask me about the time my daughter (unbeknownst to me) filled up her water bottle there. Truly her father's daughter. :faint:

Fat Cow. . . do you need some udder cream for that bag problem? I know that it smooths out ruffled....feathers. :rotfl:

I don't stay on-site so I don't have any refillable resort mugs to trade... :(

However, I do have one of those large, lidded ice water containers from my DH's last stay in the hospital.. It's a lovely mauve color and surely must be worth something... You could fit a LOT of soda in there..

Any offers????

:teeth:

Not a problem C.Ann! Just have Doris print you a label from a resort that you would like to stay at and then you will be in like Flint. She only charges a nominal fee...I THINK. :teeth:

CAnn, I'm a nurse, and those little pitchers are GREAT !!!! You are so right, just think how much you could get in there from the food courts !!! They also work really well for cereal with milk inthe room if you have no bowls, but how to fit them into your suitcase ??

I have a mug from about 12 years ago, not Disney mug at all, not even white. Can I use that? I can also borrow my neighbour's permanent marker so I can write the resort's name on the once-white mug.

Oh, also I'm too cheap to clean it, I'll just go to one of Disney's restaurant and use their serviette and this new technology called "soap".

Maybe I can join this 'new-age' activity called "washing the mug" too!

PS: Of course I won't forget to borrow Wonderbread bags from my next door's neighbour.

Wonderbread bags for drinking... they were always snow boot liners when I was a kid....never thought about drinking from them!

I have an assorted collection fo the plastic cups from restaurants..

I think two Buca Di Beppa, two Olive Garden and two Bahama Breeze are good for something..., plus a six pack of plastic cups from IKEA....

Yet another way to save money with bread bags. I didn't buy my daughter her annual snow boots this year. When it's snowy you just put on warm socks, slip a bread bag over each foot, then put sneakers on over the bread bags. VIOLA- warm and waterproof. Those boots cost $22. With that savings I could purchase... hmmmm... 2 new mugs at AllStar Movies. But then why would I need to do that...

PS: Don't use same bread bags for SodaPop that used as snow boots- that would just be wrong

I think you could fit many pairs of CLEAN socks and underwear in them to try to save room in the suitcase , but then some might say the integrity on the pitcher was compromised!:teeth:

I can't believe that no one else has ideas on swapping mugs!!

I need a POR mug for my upcoming stay. Sadly, as I have never been to Disney, I do not have a mug to trade. I do, however, have mass quantities of stadium cups caught loving by my children when the cups were thrown from a Mardi Gras float. Any takers?
Oh, but I cannot guarantee that nothing unspeakable happened to them prior to their being tossed from the float. You know how crazy those float-riding-mardi-gras people are!!

Hmm...

In my science classroom there are assorted beakers, cyclinders and graduated containers.. think I could sneak those in.. and make those mugs.?

Considering some of the chemicals that could have been in those..I'm not up to trading for any beakers, etc. Yuck!

Hey, you could take a beaker, fill it up with Moutain Dew, and get all kinds of weird looks... :p

actually considering the coffee at most food court in WDW the chemicals might actually impart a little much needed flavor to the brown water...nothing like a little sulfuric acid to set the taste buds hopping.

since I have not had even one offer for my Cirque mug I will throw in a souvie popcorn bucket, er,,,,, I meant to say... *family sized* refillable mug complete with easy to carry handle

Oh so true, that food court coffee is the worst.
Oh that "family sized refillable mug" is tempting. I like a my Diet Coke with that sweet butterry flavor.

More mugs are coming. I have just contacted custodial staff at each of the resorts. They all promise to stay over one hour each day to dumpster dive for disgarded mugs. As they retrieve them, they will hose them off and I will post pictures on the site. Any food/condiment by products attached will cost extra for shipping.
