Important Message From Webmaster Alex-New Servers

Our new servers are loaded and ready to go! We will be migrating the boards tomorrow (friday) evening. The boards will go down at 9pm eastern time and you should plan on the migration taking 6 to 8 hours.
If you would like to help test the new servers go here:
http:\\216.167.116.58
You will see a version of the boards that looks a few days old. You can go ahead and post etc, change your avatar, your signature, whatever you want. Any changes or posts will be overwritten when we migrate.
All the usual board rules apply.
If you find any problems please post on the tech support board

Good luck Alex, and all others involved... As Director of IT in my workplace, I hate upgrading... Nothing seems to work out smoothly... I hope we're getting some multiple, quad-core Zeon processors with each server. AND, I hope that damn community board will get their own seperate server.

We are getting three new servers - a load balanced front end and big db server and 2 dual core 5160 procs 15k raid 10 and 8 gigs of ram. We are also looking at making some other changes to limit the load.
