IMPORTANT!!! It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Bumping this up so everyone remembers how important it is!!!

Tomorrow is my mothers last radiation treatment for her breast cancer. She found it in February, finished chemo in July and finishes radiation tomorrow!

I never did self exams or had a mammo (36yo). But since it has hit so very close to home, it is a monthly (BSE) and yearly (mammo) thing for me. It should be for you too!!!!!

Felicia - glad to see your mom is just about done with her treatments! I've been wondering how she was doing and hadn't heard from you for a while. Tell her I've been thinking about her a lot!

Another daughter of a breast cancer survivor here. My yearly mammogram is scheduled for later this month. (My DM is 85 years old and at the 4 year mark - one more year on Tamoxifen for her!)
