As Skip Wiley posted, and I just confirmed. Anyone who has ordered AP's through the DVC website, you will not receive your vouchers until you call the customer service number on your confirmation and give them your DVC member number. The order will not be processed without this information even though your credit card has already been charged.

Thanks for the post. I've been waiting for my AP voucher, and now I know why I don't have it yet. I'd never purchased an AP before, but the new option for DDE at $50 for AP holders makes it worth it for us to own at least 1 AP no matter how many park visits we make.

THanks for the heads up. I thought it was taking a long time for them to mail my pass. They should put a message in your order confirmation telling you this information.

So I was going to order today. Should I just call and do it rather than do it through the website? Also, I was told that if I order today, it's activiated today, not when I show up with the voucher at the parks. I was planning to order for our trip next month, so I could also order a DDE card. What's your suggestion?

Honestly, with all the problems we've had, you'd be better off calling.
Now, the AP is NOT activated until you do so at the parks. It is the DDE that is activated once you order it. And they have 2 different #'s to order from.
I don't have the # for the DDE handy but I'm sure someone will pass it on to you.

Well I ordered 2 adult Premium APs and one child Premium AP on Monday 1/17/05. So far my credit card has not been charged. I did receive a confirmation reply email, so I thought I should just call and see what is what.
Been on hold for 10 min so far, will post again when I get to talk to a CM. :listen:

I was just talking with Disney ticket sales customer service (407) 566-4985, about my Monday 1/17/05 order. Everything looks fine. I was not asked for a DVC member number that I can rememeber, but I did access the site using my DVC login and PW, therefore; maybe that is the difference folks are seeing here. My credit card was changed, and the vouchers were mailed out today according to the Disney CM. So it looks like MAYBE some of those earlers kinks have been worked out.

I'm good to go, hope all of you are also. :moped:

Ok, this is the first I have heard of this. I ordered my AP's on 1/14 through the DVC website (I had to login). I received a confirmation email that said they should arrive by 1/28. Do I need to call??

I ordered my pass on 1/6/05 through the member website using my username and password. I was also given a confirmation saying I would receive my pass in the mail by 1/20/05. I would never have called looking for my pass until next week if I had not read this thread.

I also ordered through the DVC website and got a confirmation that my APs would arrive by 1/11, and when I called yesterday they never even processed the order yet because they needed my membership number. I'd call just to be sure if I were you.

I was emailed a link to a will call certificate that I can turn in when I arrive at the parks. I ordered 1/4/05.

I was also e-mailed a link to a Ticket Order Confirmation with a confirmation number. The confirmation indicates to pick up the AP's at any WDW Theme Park ticket sales location.

I'm new here and thanks for all the valuable information! I would never have known that I needed to call with my DVC number if I had not read it here.

When I called the CM I spoke to told me that there was a glitch in the computer system for all DVC annual pass orders before 1/12/05. Orders after that date should be ok. Hope that this helps!

Thanks for this information. It also justifies my checking these boards every day!! I just called and they haven't shipped mine out either. They said the same thing - glitch in the system. I wish they would have emailed everyone about the problem. If it wasn't for these boards I wouldn't have known.

Oh - one more thing - you would think that they could easily cross-reference our names to our numbers in the computer systems there. Plus when you sign into dvcmember.com you use your number and password so you think with technology it wouldn't be a problem.

I just want to say thank you for this thread. I just called and sure enough mine had not been processed yet. I should still receive mine before our trip.

So what happens to DVC members who don't read this board? Do they just never get their vouchers, or what? Surely this information must be available somewhere else?!

Thanks Muchas, for this thread, I called today and got ours on the way.

Who did you call to straighten it out? Member services? If not, do you have a phone #?

thanks

I called the local (407) that was on my confirmation e-mail.
